Everybody has different opinions I think she is guilty however I will have an open mind and see how the trial goes . So far I’m sorry but it looks to me like they have got enough evidence . The fact she was on shift every single time and she was the ONLY a member of staff to be present all 24 occasions . No other staff member was present more than 7 occasions . Injecting air is Not a failing that happens . They said on some babies it took 3 attempts to kill . Everybody can believe what they like I was on the fence but I do feel she is guilty . Also the collapsing happened on her night shifts then she moved to days and the pattern shifted also extremely dodgy thing to happen especially when they said she was the only nurse present on all 24 occasions .

Fabricated induced illness it’s not really well understood but that would be my thought. BA like to try and ‘save’ the children she poisoned. Maybe it’s similar for her?
insulin or glucose are for two totally different things. You need insulin for high bg and glucose for low
Most friends family and colleagues would say the same about anybody. Shipman’s other elderly patients thought he was fantastic, the best most caring doctor. Just a question/suggestion for the running of the thread...Will we be having a new thread opened daily with a link in description for the live reporting, for example Lucy Letby trial day 2..3..etc. I seem to recall this was done for Stars trial.
I was more looking at the report alongside it tbh (not being arsey was about to clock send and read back and thought I sounded abit arsey)
You know FFI hadn't even crossed my mind, but that could be a factor here if she does go on to be found guilty rather than being a scapegoat
Stars threads didn't open each new day but they moved very fast so can see why it could of felt like that. Just the normal 50 pages per thread I'd assume.

In other murders I have read about using insulin it’s usually a diabetic and a partner has given them a purposeful insulin overdose

I know its bad to laugh but I've got a feeling we will need some moments of light entertainment to counter the utter doom that is this trial...hopefully no will be judgemental about a few lighthearted comments here and there.That's a good idea

Oh no not at all
my comments above are entirely regarding that poster’s comments about all the staff saying she didn’t believe it could be her.
For me, LL being the common demoninator in all the baby murders and attempted murders is quite convincing of guilt to me at the moment. Very keen to hear her defense. I remain open minded though.
It's going to be interesting to hear what the staff witnesses have to say. I can't imagine any of them will just say they think she did it and i reckon most will have been shocked/surprised at her arrest. But they may all have small innocuous stuff they observed that builds a bigger picture for the prosecution
Low blood sugar levels can lead to hypoglycaemic brain injury (I only work with adults btw)
