I can’t find the post because this thread is moving so fast but did someone say she possibly only attacked boys?

If she’s guilty I can only think it’s for “fame”. Down in history. She’s known. Was she a nobody all her childhood. This has made her the centre of attention. Once it’s over- and assuming guilt here, I’d really like them to analyse her background if not done already.
I thought more ‘glory’ than fame. When you’ve had a bad shift or a tricky shift everyone really rally’s round you and there’s an outpouring of love. Maybe she became addicted to that feeling?

Really want to see how they are able to say they think she attempted such and such so many times and how they've pinpointed times (apart from the obvious deceased babies).
Do they have key cards to enter wards/rooms etc maybe she was the only person nearby when they took a drastic decline

Absolutely shocking that there were 17 incidents over that time period should have been noticed far sooner !!

Can any of you who work with insulin answer if the babies who survived the attacks would have any lasting effects?

Feels weird liking your post, I liked it as a “thanks for the info” not as a “oh thank goodness it was girls too” !
I get what you mean! 5 boys and 2 girls for the murder charges and 5 boys and 5 girls for attempted murders.

Someone did ask but there is little girls in the charges as well.
It's also heavily medically researched that boys tend to deal with NICU and prematurity worse than girls. So this could of also been a reason why there *could* be more male victims than female

That's almost worse. You can console yourself that someone killed because they were psycho but doing it just for praise/adulation/comfort from others just seems so pointless and horrible

Hopefully for the families sakes they've got more than that , asking the jury to find her guilty on a process of elimination based on shift rotas ?!!
We need to hear the actual evidence for each baby but say for example they have evidence that somebody had to have been in the room at that specific time to do that specific act, on all these babies, you would have to do an elimination process. If person A was not in the room for some of those occasions then it can’t possibly be them. But they are saying Lucy was the only one for all 22 occasions. Only 7 occasions there was someone else present. We need to hear the evidence of course. How strong is the evidence that the babies had these attempts on them.

I guess there were injection marks found where there shouldn’t be etc found during the post mortems. I’m speculating that btw, before someone comes at me for jumping the gun. It’s hard not to though 😓

Seen this floating around on fb. Also didn't know little boys fare worse on NICU. So glad my baby boy just about didn't need to go there 💔

It’ll be interesting to see what evidence they have. I’m wondering what evidence was presented to the CPS for them to agree to the charges in the first place.

We're only 2 hours into a 6 month court case, prosecution haven't even begun. They will literally rip her life to shreds to shed light into the kind of person she is. For example, all those FB pictures of her drinking, will suggest that she didn't like doing night shifts...
And like alot of cases, Google search and online activity.

But yes, apart from the shifts, they seem to be using words such as 'could' and 'process of elimination'...

I didn’t expect there to be so many varying ‘methods’. She sounds barbaric if guilty.

Maybe? I dont know a lot about babies in nicu but will mose blood draws and medication be giving trough IV and lines they already have? So there shouldnt be that many injection marks?

Hi I’m just jumping in as I’ve been following the case from the start and thought I’d register to be part of the thread. I’m reading the posts feeling sick to my stomach today, my little girl who is 6 was born at the Countess in April 2016 and had an unknown infection when she was born so I took her down to NICU twice a day for 5 days. I remember the times I spent with her down there and the thought that those poor babies should be the same age as my daughter now really upsets me. I have really vivid memories talking to a nurse when they were struggling to get her cannula in and in my head she looked just like LL but it is probably just my mind overthinking the “what ifs”. I am open minded about the outcome but my heart is very heavy for everyone involved, it is clear MANY errors were made and answers need to be given. Thanks for the interesting thread I will be sure to keep up with it over the coming months.
