another bizarre rant from Hitchens

if you want to explain to me, in a civil fashion, why Lucy Letby is in your view guilty beyond reasonable doubt, I'll listen to what you say. I'm obliged to, as far as I'm concerned. Because I expect the same from you.

No need Peter. Just read the Court of Appeal judgment it's all there. It's you who need to do the explaining
The medical evidence that the babies were deliberately harmed still stands. The words on the post it note still mean the same. None of the evidence has been overturned.

Somebody linked earlier to some of the court transcripts, the post has now been deleted. There was a heartbreaking transcripts about babies G, M and Q brain scans. How those children are paying the price everyday for Letby's crimes. Some people need to think of them before writing and producing these attention seeking pieces. If there is a concern about the medical evidence then by all means let the CCRC investigate properly but let's stop the pantomime.

Yep I have no issue with this legal process. I’m not deluded to think the justice system is perfect - see the cases they always mention.

But the PR campaign, press conferences, co-ordinated news articles, YouTube appeals etc are what’s offensive. And completely unnecessary.

And seemingly based on absolutely nothing.

They seem to be against ‘trial by social media’ whilst expecting ‘exonerated by social media’.
Hitchens and his ilk don't like the mass of circumstantial evidence - so much so that they pretty much refuse to acknowledge it's existence.

Someone point him towards Christopher Snowden’s latest article. That does what he wants 😬

Dr Susan Gilby, if you're reading (although chances are probably slim), please, in the words of Cap'n Picard...'Make it so!'
He’s so off the mark, deluded as always. Guess what Hitchens. WE don’t have to convince YOU of anything.

Any convincing is simply down to Letby’s defence to the CCRC, Court of Appeal and any potential new jury of her innocence. The burden of proof is literally on her now.

And this bit…

…that’s not how the justice system works honey! We don’t do second trials ‘just incase’ ! You need grounds, and you have none. Which is why her fame hungry barrister is on YouTube pleading desperately for people to help him!
They know they have nothing. The desperation is clear to see. I think it must be a certain type of mindset. To me I think they all look like desperate bleeping losers. In their own heads do they think they are some sort of seekers of truth and justice. Like can't they actually take a step back and realise how bleeping deluded this all is? I think it's an addiction now

I dont think this article was bizarre at all. And, by the way, I am not "sure she's innocent".

But she could be.

The patronising tone of the article makes it sound like all the convictions have been overturned and all the evidence debunked. This hasn't happened.

She must be a very gullible , easily manipulated woman who can't be trusted to protect vulnerable babies from harm.

Belinda Williamson nee Simcock

this is a bit odd…it’s like she’s complaining about what she said when interviewed as a witness for the investigation was used at the trial?

This must be quite hard to live with even if it’s not your fault…

Put to one side the dreadful crimes she has been convicted of, how can a nurse who stole confidential patient information and stored it at her home and that of her parents, stalked parents of babies on FB, constantly texted while at work, neglected the care of her allocated baby so she could repeatedly go and gawp at Child C dying in his parents arms, chastised a junior member of staff for shouting for help when a baby deteriorated and who made up a sick story about the aftermath of Child A's death be possibly considered to be exemplary ?

Is that the sort of "exemplary" conduct one would like to see from a nurse or other medical professional who was caring for a member of their family ?

Looks like Nurse Y thinks Letby is innocent.

But this…

… is very naive and concerning. I appreciate it would be rare but this mindset is so narrow.
