Thank you that’s very kind 🥰

The Mirror actually giving some details that is usually ignored
This is heartbreaking. 😭 The idea that all you have of your son has also been touched by the woman who murdered him... I genuinely don't think I could cope with that.

From Liz Hull’s piece on the Thirwell report

Baby D's mother said she never had a conversation with Letby, but described feeling 'very uneasy' in her presence and that she 'stood out' as being 'odd.'
On the night her daughter died, she said she remembered Letby 'doing nothing useful' as medics fought desperately to save her, adding: 'She was just looking at us crumbling and crying.'

😢 Lucy Letby is a monster and a grief vulture. How can anyone still be saying she’s innocent? How?

@slingo16 they've mentioned two “non indictment deaths” after child J and she’s on duty for them because Breary asks Powell to update her chart and there Letby is again at ALL the deaths. Now I’ve lost my place in the live stream trying to record it for you. Will try and find it again 🙄
---
They’ve just said she was there for 9 of the 10 deaths in that period 2015 up to feb 2016.
Breary also makes the good point that 6 of the 9 deaths happen between midnight and 4am. That’s quite a lot. This was why the GP that twigged on to Shipman but was ignored was suspicious. The deaths were always in the afternoon.

Just wondering, do the "not guilty nobs" have a theory for Baby G and the large amount of milk or is this another key detail they choose to overlook? 🤔

I’m so far behind but I’m absolutely gobsmacked with what we are hearing so far. I wasn’t expecting all this detail on the first day. That email she sent was so fucking arrogant!

The mum of baby I said she had never received Lucy's sympathy card. This was the card she had photographed with the NNU wires in the picture. I wonder if she kept it and never gave it to the family.

I know ultimately it was all down to Letby but listening to how many missed opportunities there was to stop her earlier makes me feel sick, the management have a lot to answer for. No wonder she thought she was invincible before being arrested she was literally allowed to get away with murder.
i seen that some parents are in attendance, I can’t imagine how they must feel especially parents that their babies were killed after suspicions were raised.
I didn’t realise we would get live coverage it’s going to get really interesting once we get to people on the stand.

It’s amazing how much the fan club are already tying themselves in knots, desperate to find evidence to dispute what the KC for the families said about the LWH audit of tube dislodgements.

The KC literally said “you will hear evidence” but they have already decided that the evidence is not correct and it must be disproved.

They can’t even wait to hear what the evidence is before dismissing it. And they want to talk to us about confirmation bias?

Also, if they’re kept in different places but not mostly chronological then it surely shows they were sorted and looked at by her. If you’re coming home and going “oh dear, another handover sheet. Whoops” and then thinking “gosh really don’t know what in the world I should do with this. I know I’ll put it with the ones under the bed. Oh actually, I’ll take it to Hereford and keep it in a box marked KEEP at mums. Oh actually I think the bin bag in the garage will be the best place for this one. Better bring these with me to the new house” 🙃🙃

Lol, just found out I got blocked by an account on X for merely pointing out (politely) that anyone who believes Letby was convicted due to the nursing roster chart either haven't read all the evidence, are ignoring it, or don't understand it. Never been blocked by anyone before!

Cannot wait for her next failed appeal.

The delightful Dr Phil Hammond was on Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 show today. Spouting the usual rubbish and saying she deserves to have an appeal so the correct evidence can be shown!

Jeremy then spoke to Andrew Taylor, a criminal barrister from Cardiff. Cannot believe this barrister is comparing this case to the Post Office Scandal! The aforementioned Mr Taylor has only read what is in the press so jumping on the bandwagon - although he claims all those saying she is innocent, are independent experts who have no affiliation with LL.

If you can bring yourself to listen to it via BBC Sounds, the segment starts at 1 hour and 8 minutes into the broadcast.

Jesus - this is horrifying.
It’s a level of detail that wasn’t available at trial.
Just knits it all together - I’m speechless.

I remember Sandie Bohin saying something like how this was such a common feature across many of the babies. The nature of the screams that are just not typical in neonatal babies.
Yes, the prosecution highlighted it at the end. I think there was at least 5 occasions of unusual screams documented across the trial. Testified by multiple medical professionals, aswell as parents. If the Drs and nurses who deal with these babies every day are saying the scream is unusual, then it is.

Wow… I’ve yet to go back to the start - I’ve just dipped into the latest bit of the live reporting. So LL wrote a very smug and entitled email to her colleagues saying she’d been fully exonerated after the grievance was upheld

this is her:

"I have received a full apology from the trust... I will begin making my return to the unit in the coming weeks.”

Hospital management were aware of the email, the inquiry hears.
>>>>>
This bit says it all
However, Ms Langdale says: “The inquiry has not seen any evidence to suggest that anyone at the hospital responded to Letby’s email to correct her and to clarify that she had in fact not been investigated at all, let alone exonerated.”

Everyone was tiptoeing round her. They even had a f-ing tea party for her to welcome her back to the NNU 🫣in which she lorded it over them and made the nurses on the unit feel uncomfortable 🤬

A tea party?! A fucking tea party?! What the fuck. This is far worse than I was expecting.

Baker is now turning to the emotional toll this has taken on the families.

"To them, their babies were miracles, they were often conceived against the odds," he says.

"The father of [Child] G says this has damaged his faith. He says every day he would pray to God to save her. He did. He saved her.

"But the devil found her," Baker adds.

💔💔💔

ETA @Tofino posted exactly the same thing (and sentiment)
This broke my heart. Poor innocent baby G and her family. So many people have been broken by that bitch

I am so pleased to see Lady Justice Thirlwall acknowledging the ridiculous speculation about the guilt of Letby, and how these stories continue to cause untold distress to the families of the babies.
---
Me just noticing there is a video link on the bbc 😵💫
Me too! I didn't think it would be televised for some reason, but I think it's important that everyone can see this, given Letby was able to commit these crimes in a public healthcare setting. I think it will also avoid potential misreporting of the evidence given.

I’m “obsessed” with the unit because it’s the thing that be changed in the future. You’ll never change the fact there are people like Letby out there, there always have been and always will be - all you can do is learn from mistakes and try to make sure it’s spotted next time. Which is what I’ve fairly consistently said over the past few days despite people being determined to paint me as defending Lucy.

ETA: and to be honest I’m not sure why people are so obsessed with Letby being the only problem and defending a unit and wider people who clearly behaved very poorly themselves and potentially allowed her to go undetected for longer - and added to the parents pain by meaning the first they found out of collapses and incidents was from the police which is just vile.
No one on here is defending the management and that included the unit managers. No one. It was obvious from the very start that they hadn't done their jobs properly. What I would always defend is the nursing staff on that unit who worked their hardest, gave the best care to those babies and struggled to understand what was happening when Letby began her reign of terror.

Baby E’s mum and the insulin cases were the ones that swayed me off the fence completely during the first trial. She’s guilty and anyone ignoring the evidence for this and still trying to claim otherwise is delusional. It was a very safe conviction.
