Truly sorry. Last year after Letby was found guilty, the one living in deepest France I'm not sure whether it's Chamber or Harvey when it was suggested to him that he might have to come back to answer questions was quoted as saying "if they find me", sounds really sorry.BBC link too

They don’t mention the grievance stuff in their statement at all. No mention of Letby’s parents involvement, forcing the consultants to write apology letters. It’s all ‘nobody told us anything so how could we act’.
As a bare minimum they knew the mortality rate had a sudden, steep increase. Letby aside, what were they doing about that?

Alison Kelly also shared these emails. Somehow ‘missed’ the chart highlighting letby in January 2016. She knew she had been moved to day shifts due to the concerns.
Im hoping the inquiry will still rinse them for waiting for proof despite them claiming they didn't have any solid evidence, so they can shove that excuse.

Yes that was Ian Harvey! Forgot about that.
A source told the Mail: 'Harvey retired very quickly in 2018. After Letby's arrest he cancelled his General Medical Council subscription and went to the South of France.'
Another former employee added: 'Around the time he retired, I asked Harvey whether he thought there could be a public inquiry into what had happened and his words were, "They would have to find me first", which bothered me.
Now I see why Letby and Management got on so well!!
I think when they give oral evidence they get cross examined by all the other KC’s don’t they?

This is what was said in full about Liverpool Womens and the tube dislodgements. It’s said under the context of it being a significant variation of the norm but presumably nothing in place to identify it. I think similar was said about non-fatal collapses too. The focus at the time was mostly on the increased mortality rate.
Next week is evidence from all these mothers

Special measures are in place so only Lady Thirlwall and immediate legal representatives are with the family. Other core participants and media will hear live audio. I don’t know what ‘no onward disclosure of the audio transmission’ means for the media though, does that mean they can’t report anything at all? Or just not publish the audio.
