I agree that relying on her father in her 20s is strange and her parents over indulged her. But someone wearing socks and kitten heels is not necessarily a serial killer psychos don't wear uniforms or have psycho written on their foreheads.
Do you think anybody here, that’s followed the case every day for almost a year.. actually believes that she’s guilty because of her footwear?

Interesting part on the operation hummingbird documentary

They have a central reception team that deals with any public/media enquiries relating to OpH instead of it going through the main control room.

Part of what they do is monitor and assess any threat, risk or harm related to social and digital media 👀 do you think they have come across our threads?

Bet Richard Gill was top of their list.
Hope he is!!!
Watched the documentary last night, and I'm literally lost for words. It's been clear all along, what a massive task they had on their hands, however, I'm just speechless at how they " did it", how they put it all together and presented it to the CPS.
I can't put into words, the respect i have, for every single one of them, involved in bringing "it" to justice!
Nicola Evans said herself, their lives would never be the same!
"It's ( LL)has changed so many people's lives for ever, in one way or another.😪
I was going to say, I hope we never see the like again, but sadly, this is just the beginning💔

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but I really liked that the podcast mentioned all the babies involved in the case when discussing the verdict at the end, even if they received a NG or Hung verdict.

It broke me again.

I've always been convinced there will be more babies, but the thought is already breaking my heart.

I'm saying it one last time...
I saw " it's photo on the TV screen way back, when "it" was arrested, and I thought," she's dead behind the eyes. "
I'm not saying it with hindsight, I'm saying it because that's what i thought at the time amd obviously still do!

Just reading the latest DM article about the “confession” notes found. They really do offer a terrifying insight into her mind & I hope some efforts go into translating the ineligible parts. Found it interesting now they’ve un-redacted parts of the white note how many times she wrote “Karen Rees” and “love” how delighted she must have been to he repeatedly put back on shifts to kill by her 🤢 makes you wonder what was at play with their relationship as to why Rees was so eager to ignore the consultants warning & continue to be letbys biggest supporter; she needs to be in jail for what she’s allowed!

I read somewhere (no idea where now) that as operation hummingbird has been ongoing throughout the trial that additional parents have been contacted already about ongoing investigations into suspicious deaths or collapses.
I think they said about 30 more so far have been uncovered.
When do you think the public will hear any more charges are going to be made ?
i just can’t see how they can go to trial again ( no disrespect to the parents) but I can’t see another jury trial given how well she is known now, or is that totally wrong and they will press ahead anyway

There was a member several threads back who posted a series of photos of Letby with only the upper half of her face showing, and asked us to guess which ones she was smiling in. Wasn't it all of them? It was really disconcerting

Isn't it more that the Trust gave them an apology?

I know, from some reports, that the parents are supposed to have threatened to report the doctors to the BMA.
And fair enough they are worried parents, and may well have been there to offer moral support etc....

But legally they are not a party to what was on the face of it an employment dispute - unless somehow Lucy Letby is a ward of court/a vulnerable person/in a coma/(or whatever) and they are acting on her behalf.

But it does raise more questions about the way the Trust handled this whole affair.

Would the doctors not have been forced to write the apology letter if they got a note from their mum saying they had all succumbed to an allergy to Basildon Bond?

My thoughts too.yes they've said 30 have already been " identified " and they're going through every baby she came into contact with...its off the scale frightening to think what they may uncover...how they will proceed, as you say is another story, given what's now known about her!

Yeah...I said this yesterday, for benefit of someone who had said " its easy to say in hindsight"
I've said it from day dot, as I keep saying😪
Very disconcerting, those pics said it all!

That's simple enough...
Lucy Letby turned up at work everyday, willingly did overtime, was a good team player etc...
Thus her manager didn't have to call in agency staff to cover.

There’s a couple on Good Morning Britain who have described an incident with LL and their daughter who had a sudden collapse after LL was by her cot. This was in 2013.

The mum said LL was over her daughters cot just had a completely blank look when the mum came in and then walked off.

Recovered when transferred to Arrowe Park. The parents raised their concerns with the Countess in 2014.

He was named in court. It just couldn’t be reported. The same as the baby’s names were read in court.

He gave his evidence behind a screen so she couldn’t see him but he was definitely named.
If I was a wife who suspected it was my husband I’d have gone to court to find out for sure. But that’s just me.

And when my ex was having an affair while I was pregnant I’d found out the other woman’s name, her husband’s name, and her home address, in about 10 minutes. I promise I’m not a psycho.

So I’d definitely have gone to that courtroom!

That message translates to "If you speak to the media you can kiss your job goodbye." It's a desperate ploy to cover their own complicit arses.
It’s usually part of any trust media policy to refer to comms team, I remember getting an email similar to this at one of my trusts when they were getting increased media presence approaching staff.
