Why are you rehashing it? Were you the original poster? I was a few pages behind (as the threads move so fast, sorry obviously I should only respond when I'm caught up) and I was shocked to be honest at the comment knowing there are some of us on here who have disabled children/adults in our family. Also being as we're on a thread discussing this animal who has caused such disabilities in children, it was extremely insensitive so I replied. What's the issue?

I don’t disagree, but in the instance of this thread, not everyone has been here since day 1; people who weren’t totally invested in it would have drifted in and out. They wouldn’t have built the relations that the regulars did; perhaps they aren’t as tactful as you’d like or as respectful as you’d come to expect on here.

I’m not a murderer and my mum is lovely, we’re just a bit nuts for catsIf you look at the context of her notes, it would make sense that she felt the net was closing in on her and that she would spend life behind bars. I’m not saying I’m right and you’re wrong, there’s the possibility she was feeling genuinely that she had no hope of marriage or family because she was “terminally single” but the logic behind that doesn’t really fit in with what else she’d written in her notes. Have you read them all?
