So my recollection is that it was renowned statistician SK apologist Richard Gill, who you may have noticed this thread is not a fan of. He posted on Twitter or FB or one of his many other internet rants, amid other things like threatening to go to Manchester Crown Court with an AK-47 and tweeting Keir Starmer with his insightful delusional thoughts on the case, referencing Tattle in a disparaging way and saying something like “Tofino and that website of yours” how does it feel to know such a person (virtually) knows you, @Tofino ?! Terrifying, I’d imagine.

I also think at this stage you need to consider creating a second wiki, for the thread itself. Explaining Della’s wrong fella, how you own and run tattle, why @Lucyxxxx has bin Laden as her PP, the reasons for the thread’s feelings towards Keith Chegwin/Les Dennis, the origins of everyone making ear puns at @Daisydunn15 etc. We’d be so meta.

Honestly I think this kind of question is a bit sick. It's because this thread is absolutely jam packed with empathetic, whole-hearted people whose hearts are vulnerable and open as they consider what the families are going through. This wait is genuinely taking a toll on the emotional and mental health of people on this thread so they understand that for the families it must be a world of pain to have to wait, and wait some more. Calling it a 'soap opera' is your words, not any of ours. And if it was a soap opera, we'd want it to run and run. We have wanted this over, shut down and dealt with for MONTHS.

Given how stern Judge G has been, and that one juror has already been discharged for personal reasons - the appointments must be serious. There are so many people on this thread who have been seriously ill, given birth, attended funerals etc in the span of 10 months, so understandable they may have the same. We don't know if it's the same people or different jurors. And Monday could be a set appointment.

As for families, they have been waiting for years, don't think a few days/weeks is going to matter all that much to them. They've had to wait through delays of 2 years because of Covid so I think they will want the jury to be thorough and deliver a G rather than be quick and deliver hung or NG on their baby. Every time I find myself getting annoyed, I remind myself that it's not a TV show, and that checking live updates can make it seem so - but it's real people with real lives. You have to admire the resilience of anyone who is G on that jury for not just giving up and working hard to convince the NG.

Tbh most people don't like making decisions with serious consequences. At my work, very few want leadership roles because they don't want the stress of making decisions under time pressure that could affect other people, revenues, customers etc. I know people who struggle to even commit to something like marriage or a big move. And that's low stakes. Reckon the jury are actually very representative of the average person.

I see today as just edging a little bit closer instead of having stayed exactly where they were. It can only be positive to get a bit more done I think we’ve got Bob Hope and No Hope of it being today but we’ve shuffled a bit closer and maybe even one less overnight of waiting for the families. Maybe this thread is just an echo chamber and you all peer pressured me into thinking she's G. I think that's why @MmmB777 didnt use paragraphs, it was to hypnotise me. Maybe I just looked at her big chin and dead eyes to make my decision, rather than actually considering the massive amounts of defence evidence. I mean, shit in the sink explains a lot. I've just googled it and apparently shit in a nearby sink can cause high insulin levels. Also, my auntie's a nurse and she said that she's seen lots of people get get prosecuted for serial killing if the CQC were due a visit, just to hide any discrepancies in their care plans or something.

Even on Facebook, where they seem a bit hard of thinking, the latest poll showed 76% think she'll be found guilty (on some or all of the counts) so you're talking out your pooper.
