So my recollection is that it was renowned statistician SK apologist Richard Gill, who you may have noticed this thread is not a fan of. He posted on Twitter or FB or one of his many other internet rants, amid other things like threatening to go to Manchester Crown Court with an AK-47 and tweeting Keir Starmer with his insightful delusional thoughts on the case, referencing Tattle in a disparaging way and saying something like “Tofino and that website of yours” how does it feel to know such a person (virtually) knows you, @Tofino ?! Terrifying, I’d imagine.

I also think at this stage you need to consider creating a second wiki, for the thread itself. Explaining Della’s wrong fella, how you own and run tattle, why @Lucyxxxx has bin Laden as her PP, the reasons for the thread’s feelings towards Keith Chegwin/Les Dennis, the origins of everyone making ear puns at @Daisydunn15 etc. We’d be so meta.

A reminder that this forum is an echo chamber of people who think guilty (About 95%). On Facebook, it's pretty much 50/50 split and on reddit it's about 75/25 split (G/NG).

I'm guessing the jury is probably something like 8:3 guilty or 7:4 guilty, but obviously it's impossible to know.

We are more akin to a group of people that can critically appraise evidence as we’ve heard it. There have been many, many interesting discussions here over time, if you care to go back and read earlier threads.

There were many posters here, myself included, that were initially leaning NG or on the fence. Everyone was very tolerant of differing opinions at that time. Most posters made up their own minds as the trial went on, basically because she’s guilty as fucking sin. There were moments during prosecution that were jaw dropping for many of us. Read @MmmB777’s posts if you feel like opening your mind.

I’m trying to give you the benefit of the doubt cos you’re young and obviously want to hang out on this thread but seriously, coming in here and labeling this as an ‘echo chamber’ and that you still believe she’s NG, without backing up why, is just gonna piss people off.

Out of interest, do you believe NG - not enough evidence to convict, or NG - she didn’t do it, cos if it’s the latter, then you’re in the wrong place mate.

My brother has messaged to say he is having the operation to amputate his leg on Wednesday. We knew it had to be done but it feels very short notice, it has to be removed above the knee due to poor circulation in his lower leg. We live 450 miles apart so I'll have to organise things so I can go and stay for a while. He had a femoral artery blockage and had that cleared a few months ago but there were things that came up from that, it blocked again the day after the op, his heart had stopped during the op, he was diagnosed with sticky blood and has something going on where he makes too much iron as well.

I'm having wine (lots) with posh cheese and onion crisps. A bit like a wine and cheese party without the guests and any actual cheese.

The fact not one medical professional from
the UK, or beyond, was prepared to go in that witness box in some kind of support for her, to go against the existing sea of medical professionals…what was the reason for that then? They were all otherwise engaged? Don’t make me laugh. Her only “defence” witness was a plumber who brought literally no defence . Poor guy probably lost some decent pay to show up too.

Give me doubt by telling me another person was there to cause every murder or attempt. Give me someone else who wrote a damning confession note . Give me someone else who stole 257 hospital documents. Give me someone else who lied many times on the stand over simple questions, give me someone else who was caught red handed by a doctor, by a parent.

Anyone else then? Nope.

At this point, these people are either trolls or really fucking stupid.

See this is what gets me about those that can say there’s “reasonable doubt” because of the few incidents of suboptimal care yet don’t feel the vast mountains evidence against Letby, a definite poisoning and all the house search items, just countless witness, parent and expert accounts, are enough.
If the cumulative effects of repeat cannula attempts caused babies to cardiac arrest suddenly- it would be common place. Despite all the interventions prem babies need- cardiac arrests are uncommon- out of the blue ones, extremely so.
If a slight delay of antibiotics or lung steroids caused babies to die- the survival rates of babies up and down the country would be horrendous.
If a needle left in by Dr Ravi or any of the other mistakes these (actual life saving fucking heroes) made had the ability to cause a 22 minute cardiac arrest TWO DAYS LATER, with no evidence on the X-ray to say it was that causing it, with no ongoing problem persisting and speedy recovery… then there would be somebody, many experts - standing up in that court saying yes it absolutely could have been caused by these things. But they’re not. Nobody would. As BM told the court multiple times - he is the only person prepared to defend Lucy Letby. That’s because she is guilty as sin.

How is anyone reading these threads and coming to the conclusion that those posting here are enjoying this trial?
We all fucking hate Letby, people have said in no uncertain terms that they want to see her battered? Others have shared touching, personal stories of their own experiences in neonatal wards and have spoken about how deeply disturbing and upsetting they’re find this trial and how all they want is justice for the babies and parents.
No one is “enjoying” anything.

Hello. I hope it's okay to come out of lurkdom. <Waves>

I stumbled across these threads weeks and weeks ago. I'm making my way slowly through them starting at the very first one, so as I haven't a hope of catching up any time this decade, I thought I'd de-lurk now because the threads will be on fire when the verdict (eventually) comes in!

Even when I was relatively uninformed, I've suspected LL is guilty, mainly because - cynic that I am - the CPS seem to set an extremely high bar before they can be arsed to give the go-ahead for a case to be prosecuted.

As I'm still working my way through the threads here, I I haven't yet come to finding out the minutiae of the case brought by the prosecution. I'm finding the Wiki invaluable, so thank you to the Tattlers who maintain it.

I hope that a guilty verdict is given soon, though I suppose it's better that things are done correctly than quickly: I'm as impatient as all of you are! I'm sure that the press are sitting on a lot of information that they can't report until the trial is over. Can't wait for that.

Ahhh he's not great Peepster! Thank you for thinking of us. Usually when I get the antibiotics in him he's grand within 24 hours but the only real improvement is that he's stopped vomiting. Hopefully I can get his fluids up, get some grub in him and the ABs will kick in
