I had a dream over the weekend that my husband was one of the jurors. He works all over Greater Manchester and spends a lot of time in Central Manchester so I dreamt that he had been going in every day and hadn't wanted to tell me as I'd want all of the details...... He was also able to be off work last Monday at short notice as well.
When I woke up, it got me thinking as he would be so thorough and would really study the information and want to consider everything carefully. I even checked if the jury was sitting when we went on holiday in June, just in case

. They were so that confirmed that he's definitely not a juror. I then actually felt a bit sad as I would be reassured if he was a juror as he's lovely and calm and would be a voice of reason.
When I told him, he said he's so glad he isn't, he doesn't think he would cope very well hearing all of the medical evidence and he'd get so mad - he's so laid back normally but he was getting really angry speaking to me about it on behalf of the parents. So, for his sake, I'm relieved he's not a juror and having to deal with these feelings. Really made me think how the jurors are actually feeling and coping

For all we call them on here, they've had a really disruptive 10 months listening to distressing information and now they have to process that and make a decision on 22 separate charges. I feel confident that, on the whole, they will reach guilty verdicts for most, if not all. I just hope it's this week for the parents sake - 8 years for some of them - heartbreaking
