This life sometimes, one of my daughter's has been taken to hospital, she's been ill since last Thursday and is getting worse, 111 were going to send an ambulance but it was quicker for my SIL to take her himself. I'm sat just waiting for news.
Awwww no. Sending lots of caring thoughts and love and I'll have a word with the big man upstairs to keep an eye on her ❤

I’m telling myself that on the slim chance she does walk that one day she’s gonna be battered within an inch of her life. That’s satisfying enough. But she won’t walk, you don’t get to court with 22 charges and found NG on all of them
I dunno. My case had 15 charges and we found not guilty on all.

I read somewhere - may have been here and I'm repeating so apologies if so but think it was Facebook - that in their opinion there's no option where she walks free.

Guilty of any of 22 charges - jail for a long time/life.
Hung jury - retrial, off back to jail for another long stint
Hung jury - no retrial, arrested on further charges for Hummingbird, back on remand
Not guilty - arrested on further charges for Hummingbird, back on remand

I hope they are right.
nah can’t have been Facebook. They think she’s having a long holiday in Ibiza soon.

This thread has the most lovely people in the universe on it. You are always here for everyone, whatever their woes are.

LL does not have that and will never have that. Horrible person that she is.

A question - when did tinned mushy peas get so rit? I bought the Batchelors ones to have with my 'pretend it's a chippy' diet tea :)rolleyes: ) and they're watery as duck.

And don't start suggesting making them yourself, that's pon behaviour...

One thing after the other for you. I hope they find out what's going on soon and get her all better.

Ooh actually, I just searched the NMC register for her and realise there were proceedings and an interim suspension order placed on her registration, which seems to have done the job of keeping this open for her to be struck off.
I wish they’d done that in the case I was involved in.
NMC have also been in court watching too.

The cheapo basics ones are better than branded for mushy peas in my not so humble and fairly experienced opinion 😂

What do we think the “problem” charges might be where the jurors can’t agree? I’m thinking babies K and Q…

A Scrub Daddy sponge!

also, hi! I think the above may be my first contribution on the LL threads as you’re all so entertaining I’ve spent forever reading everything and never quite catching up. And every time I felt like adding something, someone already had.

one thing I will mention, is that it’s entirely possible she won’t be officially struck off the nursing register if her registration has lapsed, which by now I’m sure it must have. I reported a colleague years ago and it took so long to investigate, that her registration lapsed as she didn’t pay to keep it. Although she got fired, and I was assured by the NMC that if she ever would apply to rejoin the register, it would trigger the Fitness to Practice case, it just felt…I dunno. Frustrating and a big loose end. She would never be able to work with her registration again, but she also never had to declare being struck from a professional register. I’m not sure if this is still the case as it’s been at least 15 years. Just thought it might be of interest to mention.
Issue is this one will 'destroy public trust in the profession' if they don't come down on her. So their arses will move fast.

Say she hasn't murdered any baby (she has). She's kept confidential documents in an insecure manner, she's falsified records, she's been inappropriate towards parents, she's not been cooperative with police investigations, and she has gone past her competence.

If they leave her on for any length of time there's a loss of trust for the NMC. It's why you see the ones who are found out as onces dealt with sharply.

Not really sure because every time I think about any of the charges, they all become absolutely glaringly obvious tbh 😅

80 bloody p for those things these days!

Long gone are my uni days where I'd scrounge to the end of term on tinned cupboard rit like mushy peas with whichever carb was lying around. Bet you have to offer up a kidney for spaghetti hoops and potato waffles now.
