do you mean the Ken Bruce quiz Docmum? If so he is on Greatest Hits Radio and does pop master 10:30am weekdays!
sorry lovely, I meant to reply to this. Is it the same? The OG one has such happy memories attached that I can’t listen to the new one on vernons show now. Is it still worth getting hugely competitive with myself a listen?xx

It’s not stopped raining for days - the ground is sodden too so no, can’t see the cricket being on at all. We’re only about a 15 minute drive from there.

ETA - according to the apple weather app, we’ve got 80-100% chance of rain until 4am tomorrow morning! Good job we’re used to it!

I've had some very sad news tonight that one of my closest friends has died, this is totally out of the blue as they weren't ill. I can't quite believe it and can't process it just now. She is such a lovely person and would do anything for you. There's a truth in the good die young.
So sorry to hear of your loss Mrs D. I hope you and your other friends have a good old reminisce and find comfort in each other xx

I think it’s the same - the adverts before he came over, were saying stuff like “the new home of pop master & Ken Bruce” - he came over to Greatest Hits in April after he left Radio 2 and they were proper bigging up that he was joining the station!
It’s quite a good station tbf to it - has music from 60s - 2000s. Ken is on 10-1pm weekdays n pop master is 10:30 xx

My favourite tunes change with my mood so today I'm going with...

Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
Wake Up - Arcade Fire
Sabotage - Beastie Boys

Bloody hell fire, I bet the smug little tit loved that. What will happen now? Is that it?

I think Judge Goss will do absolutely everything within his legal power to prevent anything like that from happening. My faith in the jury has taken a dip but hopefully next week when (if) they resume we will have our nerves eased 🤞
The state have 28 days to decide if they are gonna pursue a retrial I think. He's seemed confident throughout but I do think the witness the defence called at the end helped him big time.

Hjkkk

hahaha of course 3.5 for £20 Lucy from tattle is following the YMW melly trial 😂

It’s a shambles tbh melly might actually get away with it although his co defendant is ducked
Yeah I think he might as well. Think the state will go for retrial but will he be found guilty is another thing. Considering how obvious it seemed.

So sorry for you loss @mrs.darcy, hope your get together helps you all.

In other sad news, Psycho Sootie (my profile pic) will be pts this week, he has mouth cancer. He's 14, and was my younger daughter's 10th birthday present. I'm just glad we can do this kindest thing for animals.
I'm so sorry. It's agonising for us, as any final act of unconditional love will always be. But for them it's release from inevitable suffering.
I'm 2010 My 16 year old dobie x had the same, and it was the kindest thing - though sudden - to act quickly because soon their quality of life would just not be there at all. We gave him the best last few days we could.
You're doing the kindest thing because that's what you have done for his whole life: always and only ever the kindest things. ❤

@Wackie Jeaver @Beigerac @oldjamfan @Daisydunn15 @Haveyouanywool

Thank you for your kind words. I need to get sorted as I'm picking a friend up soon.
I'm so sorry for your awful, sudden loss. I'm sending love too. Lean on the ones who love you. And of course you can say what you like here, we've got ye. ❤

Sending tattle love to all of you going through tough times ❤ I’m not good at knowing what to say, my social anxiety has me shuttling between “tell them about something bad that happened to you so they know you understand” and “say a platitude so you’ve at least made some effort” Sorry to say this was the best I could come up with xx
I couldn’t choose 3 songs if my life depended on it so here are the last 3 Alexa played on my “most played”
3 Rivers- Dave
You large b- Bad Manners
Please please please let me get what I want- The Smiths (hate Morrissey but can’t ignore that back catalogue)

Can I have a hand hold please? I've been breastfeeding mini Caledonian for 8wks as of today but I need to stop for my mental health as it's starting to really dip and today I was ready to walk out my front door and not come back home for a while. I want to have me back but slightly sad that I'm "giving" up but I know I need to put my mental health first

It's important for mini Caledonian that you are well and happy. You are making the right decision for the both of you ❤

I have no words of wisdom but you are absolutely doing what’s right for you and both your babies. They need you at your best. You’re not giving up, you’re prioritising the well-being of all of you. Big hugs x

Hello , so sorry to hear you are feeling like this - a happy mummy and lots of love is what your little man needs - much more than any specific method of feeding. You’re doing a great job for him and don’t let anything or anyone say different. You have all our tattle hands holding you - that’s a lot of hands!!! Take care , you aren’t alone ❤

You have to do what is best for you. Mini Caledonian will be happy as long as you are happy, that’s what is most important. It’s not ‘giving up’ at all. You‘ve done so well for eight weeks, Mini Caledonian will be fine. You need to take care of yourself xxx ❤

Little Mini Caledonian just wants his mum to be happy and well. He's not bothered where his milk comes from as long as it comes.

Give yourself a massive pat on the back for feeding him so long with all the difficulties. You've smashed it you little star x

it’s not giving up, you did it for 56 days, which is 56 days more than I did. It’s good you’re in the mindset that something has to give - I’ve said before in this thread that if you don’t put yourself first then you can’t put little ones first.
Once you see him love his bottles and continuing to thrive, the feelings will ease and you’ll know for sure it was the best decision - but until then go easy on yourself and be proud of all you’ve achieved to have a thriving, well little one. You’ve done the right thing, but sending hand holds and hugs ❤

You're not giving up you're doing the best thing for you and him. There's a lot of pressure on us mum's to breastfeed, but all babies need is milk and they don't care if it comes out of a tit or a bottle as long as they get fed! You just have to do what's right for you both, no need to feel any guilt!

My mum said I should keep going as I managed longer with wee Caledonian. Yes that's true but that was 8yrs ago. This time round I've had mastitis 4 times and 2nd time for thrush and I've just had enough. I want to sleep with no bra on, I want to be able to get up and not think right I can only do x y and z before I need to feed and mostly I want my body back
