Is it possible for two jurors to have a previous connection to one and other? Like could you end up on a jury somebody you know?

Yeah no reason why not. You do have to declare if you know the people involved in the trial though including any witnesses. We were also asked if we were familiar with two particular addresses.

Gosh I wonder if the jurors have fallen out or something like that is happening behind the scenes. If they felt they were close to a verdict, they would just come over and get it over and done with.
That actually crossed my mind too! It’s such a complex case that I can imagine tempers riding pretty high and it’ll be such a high stress environment that it would be really easy to snap. Never heard of that happening before and wonder what the procedure is if it does?

Because LL has such a long journey… can’t see why they didn’t move her nearer
Yeah that would make much more sense! Or they could just drag her in at the crack of dawn. Even better - leave her in the holding cell at court every night🤣

Or just suck it up, buttercup. Plenty of people work 10 hour days and have long commutes. I'm not saying it's ideal. I guess they're being super careful because of her "PTSD" but I'm wondering if it's going to end up screwing up the trial in a different way anyway.

I agree here, I had a thing with a chap a few years ago. 6ft 7...a huge strapping mound of a human (also gnger- he's not called Phil your hubby is he?)...anyway... get got to it and his willy was like my pinky. I wanked him with my thumb and index finger. It was pathetic.

He was a nice guy and hot and anyway, we exchanged numbers and he kept filthy texting me, asking do I want his big massive rooster...I was like eeeeeeehm.....
I ran into the same guy … but it made me cry! 😦😮💨😪
---
I'm not ginger

But I am 5ft 🙌🏻

And I once had a dalliance with a chap who had a willy so big it just wouldn't fit anywhere at all (maybe could have stuck it under my armpit or something now I think of it) I said he should go into porn and he said it wasn't the first time he'd been told that!

Was a real shame as he was lovely had a nice house and a nice car with those lights that pop up which he gave me a lift to work in the next morning. Bless the girls vajajay that he ended up with

I ran into this guy, too - situation made him cry! 🫣🫢😮

Anyone else watch "The Sixth Commandment" last night? Knew about this case when it was reported (trial lasted 19 days), got so engrossed and ended up watching every episode. Letby shows the same traits of superiority, power, lack of empathy...a serial killer's characteristics.
I watched it and it was incredible how convincing the killer was towards his victims being cuddly, kind and lovable yet none of it was real, when he was away from them he was coldly planning his next cuddly wuddly move. Quite horrific, it was very well acted by all! I am also wondering if Martin, Mr Farquar's lodger knew more than he was letting on apparently he was found not guilty at the trial.

Wasn’t the insinuation that Martyn the lodger was being coerced to get it on with the elderly lodger next door? Very sad. So glad he was finally caught. Just horrible.

I think he probably knew his intentions weren’t honourable but maybe he thought it was more about money, not murder. But obviously the murder was about money…

Maybe he was promised some of the ill gotten gains if he played along.

I'm feeling poetic. So here goes. I hope you like it.....

An ode to the fool,
Or the humble wick,
The wee fella,
The rooster, the pecker.

They vary in shape and size,
But the one that gets my prize,
Is the one that's bent like a banana.

I don't want to lick it or suck,
I most definitely don't want a duck,
I'm happy to observe
As it grows big and curved
Then I can use it to hang up my dressing gown.

Do I need to bow or something? Do a curtesy?
This is up there with the works of William Blake and Charles Baudelaire.

The days have been short because of her commute? That is terrible. Many people have 1-2 hour commutes and do a full day of work. If she can't hack a full day of court, maybe don't murder babies 🤷

You need a big joint, a 2l of diet pop and loads of crisps for a hangover x (or just life in general)
