Guys I am currently sat in hospital with a torn knee ligament (got carried away at Zumba didn’t I) and waiting to see if I need surgery. I’m so sad but this fool talk has surprisingly perked me up so thank you.
Ps my fella has a big nose and size 13 feet 🤝🏼
Maybe you could try salsa instead? 💃💃

The jurors who are showing up consistently and having their time wasted have got to be fuming at this point

Anyone else watch "The Sixth Commandment" last night? Knew about this case when it was reported (trial lasted 19 days), got so engrossed and ended up watching every episode. Letby shows the same traits of superiority, power, lack of empathy...a serial killer's characteristics.
Started watching it last night.

I couldn't get over how aged Timothy Spall looked. In my head he's in his 50s but in reality he's 66!

Looking forward to watching the rest.

@Be More Pacific hope you don’t mind me tagging you but I know you follow a lot of trials and are the voice of reason with things like this. I’m wondering what your thoughts are on the juror absence mid-deliberations?

I presume because court is currently just adjourned (from the little we know) that maybe the judge is hopeful the juror(s) will be back soon otherwise he would be discharging them? Or some other legal thing would happen?

Sorry, I've totally missed this - I'm in the middle of a week long house move that is really not going to plan - so I hadn't realise the jury hadn't been sitting, just that there was no verdict yet.

So, what exactly do know?

@nosycowmoo hope you can be there for the verdict after investing so much time! I can understand you feeling fed up with it. Are you going to go tomorrow and Friday if it’s on?

I can only imagine with the start of the summer school holidays approaching it’s going to become more difficult for the jurors who are parents and juggling childcare. Many of them could have been counting on this being finished by the time summer holidays came round. Not to mention the parents of the babies who have other children and should be able to have some closure and begin the summer holidays together, not traveling back and forth to court everyday.

It does seem like they are off at the drop of a hat, very frustrating for everyone involved!

I find it confusing because if it’s impacting on the trial surely there should be some sort of fund allocation to cover their childcare costs or something? 😩

This reminds me of a guy I went with back in my younger days. I went “down on him” in his aunties living room (he stayed with her). When he released his “juices” in my mouth I could feel big lumps and stringy bits of cheeseyness, it absolutely stunk! I panicked cause was I hell swallowing that! As he got up I faked swallowing it and was holding in gagging, he walked out the room to go to the bathroom and I coughed, sneezed and gagged at the same time and it splattered all over my face. I was literally peeling it off my face in big lumpy clumps. I wiped it under the aunties rug as I panicked not knowing where to put it.

Sorry tmi but it scarred me for a good few years.
Ma’am, this is a Wendy’s

I hope the jury come back tomorrow and just agree on guilty and just get it over with. It just needs to be over.

Can I ask that people stop quoting the lumpy gunk post because everytime you do I have to read it again and it’s putting me off my yoghurt.

Not words I expected to see myself typing on the Lucy Letby trial thread but here we are.

I really don't know if I want to laugh or vomit or be shocked at this.

Not a lot. They left on Friday due back Monday. Monday it was announced court wasn’t sitting due to 2 missing jurors. Later on Monday said court wouldn’t sit/deliberations resume until Weds at the earliest. Yesterday they announced not back until Thurs at the earliest.

I don’t know if the jury are taking this case seriously
I think that is a little unfair to be honest. 9 months they have given up to attend, it isn't surprising that there have been juror illness or other personal circumstances to take into account.

There could have been a bereavement, marriage break up ...anything to cause the delay.

Dated a fella who was 6 ft 5, worst advertising of my LIFE, his fool was 1.5 inches long when fully erect SO IT JUST SLIPPED OUT ALL THE TIME. And he dumped me. RIP my dignity (and his lack of peen).
LAUGHING MY HEAD OFF 🤣🤣🤣
