I mean I don’t hate anyone who thinks differently but I just can’t see what they think the other explanation is. Who planted the insulin, was it the plumber? It’s been pretty obvious to me since day 1. She killed then on purpose, and she wrote a bleeding note saying as much. Then you go through the evidence and it’s pretty bloody obvious but maybe that’s just me.
I think the distinction (without any particular beef) is whether it’s an informed opinion. After you plough through all the evidence, see the patterns and the way in which she responded on the stand it’s very difficult to see how she could be innocent.

When people counter this, it tends to be with generalities such as ‘it could be a coverup/ institutional failing.’ But I haven’t seen many NGs explaining how there could be this many anomalies, or how so many bizarre events could occur following her shift patterns- or look at the broader picture with this in mind.

Disagreement is going to be quite natural, and much as in court, a less convincing/popular opinion is going to need to evidence itself. What seems to happen is rather than providing data the individual sees it as a personal attack. I think people here are prepared to listen to a good counter argument but they aren’t going to pretend to believe something they find implausible to be ‘nice.’

Partly I think the ‘just be nice’ stance can unintentionally enable an awful lot of bad behaviour. Not the posters, but in society as a whole.

*Edited to elaborate a bit

So little has been said for the last charge for Child G, it's hard for me to consider as its own charge. But, if I believe Letby attempted to murder Child G via overfeeding earlier that day, and if I believe she attacked babies when no one was watching, and if I believe she smothered babies....... I just might vote guilty here too.
God it's just so horrific.

The posters in various online places stating that the Judge is on the prosecution side and thinks she's guilty (or not guilty - although there are far fewer of them) are doing my bits in.

He is doing nothing other than regurgitating the case of both sides. This just shows the danger of reporting IMO, Marky Mark, Dan et al, report what they want to report and its nowhere near everything. You can guarantee that he is saying things that would be reported as if he thinks she is not guilty too.

IF Gossman even said one sentence that leaned either way, the appeal application would be submitted faster than DellaC's knickers dropping for her favourite fella.

She is going down those steps on sentencing day and the Matalan accountants & directors will be in mourning whilst the rest of us are round MmmB777 and Toffs for a party (no salsa dancing allowed).

Got to be salt & vinegar 👀 anything else is just wrong
The very best. They used to be more tongue burning though, second only to Discos.

I can't find the mention from earlier now, but what happened with Lucy on the stand where she slipped up? I followed through the Chester Standard before I found you but can't recall this (sorry, couldn't help myself 😅) particular bit. What did she say/do?

Exactly this....as soon as I see/hear the word scapegoat...I switch off!!

Newbies I have important question. Do you think Osama Bin Laden had a kind face? Can you tell the difference between Fred West and Gary Glitter?
Whilst being a peeping Tom reading these threads, I howled at all of these.

Osama - until this thread, had never thought about his face - nah, can’t see kindness in it - sorry!
Fred Glitter / Gary West - never got them mixed up but could be distant cousins of each other at a pinch!

And as for Les, bless him, he’s been immortalised in all of this 🤣

She was always ready with an explanation too. Like how tf did she know what was going on and noone else did!?? 🧐
It’s a shame they couldn’t access her web searches, as she has an awful lot of cod-diagnoses ready whenever another poor kid succumbed to harm. I’m sure they must correlate…Plus she must have learned how to attempt some of these things- it’s not as if the particulars of attacking babies is a popular shared resource! I can’t think of how else she could have learned how to do it.

I do think of all the cases baby G is a trickier one because there were mistakes made by other hospital staff. The monitor, the screen etc. a set up perfect for LL to take advantage of.

in other news I’m a fan of a pickled onion monster munch and used to love those Milkyway crispy rolls, anyone remember them?

i am partial to a browse round Matalan home at Christmas but I wouldn’t say I live, laugh, love it.
but who says the hospital staff made mistakes with the monitor and screen for baby G? Lucy.

The other nurse saying it wasn’t Lucy that turned it off, wasn’t actually there. They are basing that on Lucy saying (most likely) ‘I just found baby G alone behind this screen with the monitor off’.

The doctors apologised to the nurse at the time because they were told they left the machine off. But who told them that ? One of the nurses or Lucy. Again, it’s all come from Lucy and I absolutely believe she’s gaslit the lot of them to believe they just abandoned a baby, on a trolley, behind a screen, with no machine on.

Someone said earlier: people who still do not think there’s concrete evidence, are people who have no critical thinking. I’m not saying you do not have critical thinking but I agree this person is on something there…
Dat was me. I’m a gobshite 😂

Was it when she was talking about the baby in the dark and how she shouldn't/wouldn't have been able to see anything and she replied something about "I knew what I was looking for. Looking at" and then got the hump about hopw her brain was muddled from all the dates even though they hadn't been talking about dates.
