Yeah I understand , im not saying she’s innocent but I feel like there’s just not enough solid evidence that’s all. To me, it’s like there’s only evidence on paper work, which as everyone knows can be altered , that’s why I asked in my previous question on the last thread I think(?) if there is any cctv.
---

Thanks xx
There isn't any cctv. It's a hospital and that would go against patient confidentiality.

Even if there was cctv people won't see anything untoward as her methods were innocuous and silent bar when she started physically assaulting the babies but I doubt she would ever have done that with cctv footage being in place.

All cctv would prove is her being in certain locations at certain times but we have witnesses, swipes, texts and medical notes that also put her in certain locations at certain times so it wouldn't really add much.

Personally, I think this is one incident where there's at least a kernel of truth. The monitor removed/switched off and the baby being blue I'm more doubtful of, but something about the whole story and the response of the other staff makes me wonder if perhaps Baby G was left there unsupervised. And Letby took full advantage of that
It’s just not feasible to me that it’s Lucy, yet again, the one to innocently find a baby deteriorating and nobody else is around.

The most logical explanation to me is the doctors told Lucy they were finished (which they all say is what normally happens, they tell a nurse) and Lucy then uses that to her advantage. I just can’t believe the doctors just left without telling anyone.

It’s literally only Lucy’s word that the baby was left on the trolley, unattended behind the screen with the machine off. Why would anyone believe her?

I think this is one of those cases where if you think she murdered/attacked other babies, then it provides much more weight to this case that she lied and took advantage of being alone with a baby behind a screen.

I do think of all the cases baby G is a trickier one because there were mistakes made by other hospital staff. The monitor, the screen etc. a set up perfect for LL to take advantage of.

in other news I’m a fan of a pickled onion monster munch and used to love those Milkyway crispy rolls, anyone remember them?

i am partial to a browse round Matalan home at Christmas but I wouldn’t say I live, laugh, love it.

Someone said earlier: people who still do not think there’s concrete evidence, are people who have no critical thinking. I’m not saying you do not have critical thinking but I agree this person is on something there…

no need to thank me, I did not say it in a positive view of your post but I am glad you liked what you read.

I find the scapegoat thing absolutely exhausting to read. It’s just not feasible in this case and I hate that it keeps being trotted out. That’s not to say that cover ups don’t happen, of course they do, but it literally makes no sense in this instance. Everyone would have to be in on it, parents, staff, expert witnesses, police even.

Hi everyone, yet another newbie here.

Thanks for your warm welcome to the newbie invasion.

Preliminaries are I think she is guilty as sin and I think Tattle (and definitely this group) is a breath of fresh air in terms of intelligent discourse and empathy for the babies and parents in this trial. The support you show each other and the well needed dose of humour thrown in for light relief are the icing on the cake. I started on Websleuths and dip into Reddit but Tattle is my home.

I wanted to comment on the BIB in the post above. Does it strike you as odd that LL does not have any curiosity about the collapses or deaths. I know some people are naturally lacking in curiosity / imagination but this coupled with bizarre comments about it being fate, meant to be, could happen to anyone just strike me as completely at odds with someone who is curious enough to search for parents of babies on Facebook.

Is she curious or not?
Yes, it’s a massive red flag, and interesting to see how irritable and defensive she gets when anyone else expresses surprise or curiosity.

Finally all caught up.

@A mega Pint you’re in my thoughts, sending love to you.

I’m having a wobbly week so far this week, I’ve popped out today and managed to come back with some skips, lotus biscoff biscuits with the stuff in the middle, a mini toblerone and a galaxy ripple for dunking. You’re all influencers of the highest order. Currently watching a Christmas film. Fml.
I just bought Dairy Milk, Square Crisps and Twirl bars, this is a dangerous thread. 🤣

those of you that have only just been able to join tattle and been reading from the sidelines, I’m curious if it was the Letby case that brought you to tattle and if so where you heard about it.

Just conducting a bit of market research given it’s me who’s in charge around here.

I was Googling for a forum on which I could join in a discussion about the case so probably put something like ‘Lucy Letby trial forum’ and lo and behold - Tattle appeared! Was a bit gutted that I couldn’t join in as no one seems to know or want to discuss it in the detail that I do. I went back and read every thread and scrutinised the most excellent work of art that is the Wiki - I’m in awe of you @Tofino - I’m sure less work has gone into degree dissertations.

I have followed closely to the point of

maybe I’m swaying more to the not sure/

thanks xxxxxxxxxx
Aww you come across as easy to please, it’s understandable you are still unsure about this case.

It’s thread 43 already and you haven’t read the wiki to absorb the knowledge and information about the case, and just inserted your opinion with no back up evidence. Well, “there are no words”…

So little has been said for the last charge for Child G, it's hard for me to consider as its own charge. But, if I believe Letby attempted to murder Child G via overfeeding earlier that day, and if I believe she attacked babies when no one was watching, and if I believe she smothered babies....... I just might vote guilty here too.
