I was following the Letby case on reddit (but not commenting as everyone is so serious over there ) and somebody linked the Wiki. So that's how I found Tattle and I just like the discussions better over here.

Edit to add: I know the case is serious, but I just meant I find a lot of the Redditors take themselves very seriously and I didn't particularly want to engage with them).

I was following via Websleuths for a bit but it’s so despairingly earnest, seems to bar any sort of forthright opinion and is crammed full of muppets making inane statements about her innocence. It’s also almost entirely lacking humour as a release valve, which makes it very difficult to digest. The format is also a-clenchingly difficult to navigate.

To go back to the baby on a trolley behind a screen with the monitor off (sorry, back to crisps later!). I don't think this happened. The screen - possibly. The trolley and the monitor off? No way! No one would leave a baby on a trolley would they? Surely it would be back into the crib, careful transfer of all wires, and then checking everything? I think this is a Lucy Letby Lie.

ETA: roast chicken flavour walkers are up there...

I might be wrong but I think BNE in cross tripped her up on this. LL said something like the neo puff or whatever breathing apparatus couldn't reach, therefore, babyG wasn't where she said she was. But I could have got it mixed up with another baby.

I’d forgotten both those. So good. Especially those Branningans.

Which crisps were the ones where they’d have a little sachet of salt in them? I mean it was a pointless exercise but it was a memorable gimmick.

The posters in various online places stating that the Judge is on the prosecution side and thinks she's guilty (or not guilty - although there are far fewer of them) are doing my bits in.

He is doing nothing other than regurgitating the case of both sides. This just shows the danger of reporting IMO, Marky Mark, Dan et al, report what they want to report and its nowhere near everything. You can guarantee that he is saying things that would be reported as if he thinks she is not guilty too.

IF Gossman even said one sentence that leaned either way, the appeal application would be submitted faster than DellaC's knickers dropping for her favourite fella.

She is going down those steps on sentencing day and the Matalan accountants & directors will be in mourning whilst the rest of us are round MmmB777 and Toffs for a party (no salsa dancing allowed).

Yep am gona go av a listen for myself tomor … avnt been since she told the world what “she was looking FOR “ on the stand … she knew she had slipped up and went all sulky and refused to answer anything else … wouldn’t even say the over used “can’t remember” She got her own way that day judge adjourned court early. X

It’s been a rough 2 years to say the least but if it hadn’t then I don’t think I’d be on this thread or even tattle so I’m grateful to have found the thread fam over here. I just wish there was a way to cash in these hugs with the genuine friendships that have been built here, but there are also those reminders around why tattle is safe for a reason

You can still buy them, can't remember who makes them. I like my food salty so I'm well impressed when I get two little blue sachets in one bag!

I was desperate to post about this at the time but couldn’t register. My brother and I have always joked about how kind his eyes were! It was an amazing and slightly bizarre moment to see this unfold in the LL thread!

Personally, I think this is one incident where there's at least a kernel of truth. The monitor removed/switched off and the baby being blue I'm more doubtful of, but something about the whole story and the response of the other staff makes me wonder if perhaps Baby G was left there unsupervised. And Letby took full advantage of that

It’s quite obvious now that the unit was badly run, and I personally think LL saw that as her perfect opportunity.
