Miss you guys 🥹 been keeping up with Chester Standard but life has been hectic! I am attempting to catch up on this thread before #42 starts as I’ve been so late to the party to discuss and I miss all of your analysis, thoughts and most of all the laughter when hearing the harrowing details just so sad 😞💖💖💖

I think I’ll be taking some time away from it also, I will dip in and out but from today, I don’t think I can bear to hear it or worry whether he will manage to cast doubt. I’ll come back in properly for the judges direction as it will be done then won’t it, all in the juries hands…I just hope they make the right decision 😩

Been sort of following today from the thread but, like a lot of you, I don’t think I can keep going the rest of this week. I know he has to do his job and obviously give her the best defence possible, but it’s such hard reading about little defenceless babies.

(My mental health isn’t fab right now anyway and need to try and work on that). See you at the weekend for the fun off-topic chats ❤ much love to everyone, hope you all look after yourselves this week, seems like it’s going to be a really tough one. Much love to you all (and BNE)
I love the weekend chat, a welcome light relief after the week of court reports.

Please look after yourself and I hope you find a way that works for you ❤

My goodness a 5 hour drive, I'm impressed. We got home at 7.00 pm. I look forward to hearing how you interpreted things today.

Ben was always going to be like this, we knew what to expect based on how he was at the beginning of the trial.

Don't lose faith my darlings, they won't be taken in by it ❤

He's just slapping his fool on the table.

I'd quite like to hit it with a hammer 😂

Yeah that’s a truly shocking case and she 100% got away with murder but she was facing the death penalty and the prosecution didn’t really give much to the jury on why, where, how, when little Caylee was killed. Such a heart breaking case 💔
I was in the Orlando area at the time of her trial and the public anger when she got off was unreal.

I can only imagine! I was out in Orlando too when it first started, being from the uk and never seeing a trial “live” I kept seeing it being played and I got HOOKED, I watched the verdict back in the UK and literally screamed. 💔💔

Had an awful day today. My uncle who has been a second father to me, has been diagnosed with dementia. It hits hard as I’ve seen many a dementia patient suffering and I just don’t know where to go from here. I am so heartbroken for the future times to come where a man so intelligent and caring (and would hate if lucid) declining like this, losing his identity ☹ I think I might need a break from reading about hospitals, shame I can’t escape it in my line of work.

Oh I'm so sorry lovey, dementia is cruel there's no denying it. Just take each day as it comes and do what you can to support him.

Sending you a big hug x

I'm sorry to hear about this. My husband was diagnosed three years ago with early onset AD. It has changed our lives and we have to keep adapting to the constant changes. He had to stop doing the job he loved and had to stop driving. It is a very cruel disease. He still understands a lot but also gets confused. Some days are better than others.

I mean, the anger is still there - Casey Anthony gets drinks thrown in her face pretty regularly when she goes out for drinks, I’ve heard she’s been slapped as well. I know she’s trying to become a PI but will struggle in the court of public opinion.

Can anyone advise where it was discovered LL was bleeping Dr NN? I had a couple weeks out for exams and now people are definitively saying they were shagging 😂 what did I miss?!!

I think when Letby was cross examined regarding her social life it came out that she'd been on day trips and out for meals with NN. Their messages contained hearts. BNE referred to her having a boyfriend and she didn't contradict him at one point.

Last roll of the dice when it comes to her defence
Lied about going commando cause she was asked infront of her parents. 🥀

woooooooooooow, how crappy they both are. How does that line up with BM’s ‘she’s so sweet and hard working and innocent’ line?!!

That was a truly difficult catch up. I just can't fathom how he can say all of this, but get a plumber as a defence witness or whatever they're called? Like why is nobody backing all of this up if he's so right and she's so innocent? I can see this being an awful week if he goes through baby by baby.

Sending everyone a BNBN for their tea, and a big snuggle. X

Bless you, I'm going through similar myself with a close family member. Age UK are amazing ( if you are in the UK) also if you have Admiral Nurses in your area they're a godsend. It seems they're given a diagnosis then it's just ta ra see you later with no support. I also would recommend getting Power of Attorney on the health and financial side of things. Hope this helps if you weren't aware of it. Take care of yourself 💗

Going back a bit as I’m behind but “A baby in her care doesn't show signs of deteriorations - guilty.”

That’s not quite the context it was said Benny Boy. It was in reference to the fact that the deteriorations happened when the parents left, and one of the times it didn’t happen was when the parents were there.
