The thing is, mid to late 2000s wed of all looked like that and thought we were uber cool. (Maybe not the sun hat and blouse combo, but I doubt she cared at that point)
I know I thought I was the tit in my Paul's Boutique jumper paid for by my ESA (back when us poor kids were paid for going college)
It's only in hindsight you look back and can rip yourself to shreds over it, like my mum probably does over her god awful 80s perm, yet she thought she was the bees knees
It's been lovely to break up a week of heavy reporting with a bit of kitten heel banter

My ESA didn't stretch to £200 dresses doing keys but I did get some new look boots with the fur to get low in popword on a Friday night with a jug of skittles for one.

Just had a nose on Google, looks like there is a place called rosies that has ties to popworld in chester, from the pics it has fire shows the works... Beats the hell out of my local one, only thing you get there is a cheer when you fall off the pole

That's simply not true, I'm sure you can get herpes from that pole too.

Yes it’s maybe not there anymore, but at one point I’m sure there was, I remember seeing it years ago when on a visit to Chester, I think you’re right though the Rosie bit rings a bell. I’ve only ever been to the liverpool popworld and I’ve never had a bad night , I hear you on the cheer when falling off the pole though. Wonder if LL actually was dancing on the pole or just posed for it to look try and look wild in the kitten heels

I feel like you are yes, although I’ve only been to the liverpool one so can’t comment on other ones. I love it everyone just dances to 90s music and it takes me back to being young and fun again

It’s not that I don’t think it’s relevant, I’m fascinated to be truthful. It had just gone a bit year 9 and I felt sad for all the nurses who aren’t murderers but get crap breaks because people don’t like their boots.

I don’t think she’s really interested in clothes but she maybe lacks enough confidence in her looks to care, if that makes sense? The photos we’ve seen are presumably from her own socials so chosen by her, the face pulling is a bit “I’m mad me!” which I think often is a cover for “if I do this it doesn’t matter that I’m not pretty”. I mean I’ve done similar myself, just put my hand over my face when sitting next to a professional model at a wedding for example.

Doesn’t insecurity sometimes make people cross rather than sad? And adoring parents whose opinion isn’t shared by the wider world. Like an incel type mentality. I dunno, she’s an interesting one. Lots to speculate on. Anyway, best go do some keys to justify my tit house

To me she’s like little miss goodie-two shoes. Perhaps because her parents were so invested in her being ‘such a good girl’.
No syphoning a little bit from each of her parents drink bottles and getting off her face at the kids play park here.
I mean, god, how uptight must you be that pulling a few faces and posing on a pole in frumpy clothes is as wild as it gets?
Saying that, she might have had some secret other life, one that didn’t involve killing babies, so who knows.

In that note she wrote that she was never going to be married or have a family. I do get the impression her life outside of work was fairly lonely and she perhaps resented peers her own age who were getting married and starting families, and possibly developed a mentality that other families didn't 'deserve' their babies if she couldn't have one. I didn't know Baby A's death was following a hen do but it doesn't surprise me.

Also can I just say I’m sometimes a bit apprehensive about coming on here at the weekend. I’ve said before when there’s nothing really new coming from the trial some of the convos can be quite circle like, and I find that is sometimes how disagreements can arise. So glad it’s not like that this weekend, and we can be serious and respectful, yet have a good laugh too. I’m sure when trial resumes on on Monday it’s going to get bleak and heavy again. Right sorry, as you were Fellas. You’ve come out with some blinders, today has been an absolute hoot so far

I caught Covid from Popworld in March. And my ex used to work at Rosie’s in Chester around that time! Wonder if that fella served them
