i just finished the pod episodes of the japanese version and there are 8 engagements i believe, so compared to that i'd say there must have been more in the american version too! how terrible that must feel when they decide not to include you

I don’t think they’re all conventionally or above average attractive compared to current societal standards with the exception of maybe 3 people but Body wise, everyone mostly fits conventional standards. Shows like love island represent the standard more to me

Said the same at the start of the season. The men are unattractive, the women are cute.

Funnily enough, the only man I did found attractive before he opened his mouth was Shake. Typical of me to choose the most toxic man in the room .

He was very bitchy and shit stirring for a straight man. He also would continually look for the camera when he was kissing Danielle. Also his sister practically outed him.

I’m aware I’ll probably get strung up for admitting this but I’ve never been a fan of Deepti.

My opinion is probably influenced by the filming being made to look a certain way but she absolutely gave me secondhand embarrassment that first night in Mexico. You could tell Shake was drawing back slightly but she seemed oblivious and looked set to swallow him whole. What was that creepy comment she whispered in the pool? “All organic and natural baby”. I don’t even want to know.

This isn’t me siding with Shake. I can’t think of one genome character from the whole of season 2. Just sticking my tuppence in

To be fair, I wasn’t completely taken with Deepti either. Someone else mentioned upthread how tight she is with Shaina now, and they do say you can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep

That made me heave as well it was so cringey. I do think that she was speaking to him based off of how he’d been speaking to her. I think he probably was eager beaver making loads of sexual advances in the pods and then drew back because he didn’t find her attractive.
I wasn’t a huge fan of hers at first though, she just grew on me when she said no. I thought it was admirable she left him flapping to be honest because let’s face it, he was devastated. She looked phenomenal in her gown and even he was like “holy shit” for her to then say no
