Hopefully it’s announcing that it’s her final collection, then we can slowly watch the demise of LL.

As without ITS & her Chanel she doesn’t have much else really. Oh yeah her cringey husband. Honestly he puts me off my chips

Isn't it bit odd that most of the other large (in number) 'influenzas' get big brand campaigns fairly frequently... even throughout lockdown for some, yet Lorna never gets anything like the others.

I mean, I know she's tit at declaring things but all she seems to get sent is beauty stuff, and the majority of it seems to be 'gifted' rather than a full on campaign for new launches etc. I'm thinking about In the Fro and her fashion and perfume campaigns, lydia elise Millen and her various campaigns, even Bonnie bint and the car campaign. All of the 'fashun' influencers seem to get sent clothes but she just seems to buy her own then affiliate link to high heaven.

I cant remember the last time there was a proper 'campaign' featuring on her grid (not including her own ITS launches of course!) Anything she does share is on her stories...

Is it because she turns them down, isn't offered them or what? Would love to know.

I don’t want to doxx myself so won’t say which big influencer agency but interviewed with in early 2019 and their next big project was better using data in pitch decks - I was amazed / horrified they weren’t already?! This will be brief and tit sorry as I’m on a mobile with one arm trapped under a newborn -

I would assume she isn’t being approached because of engagement. I haven’t checked her figures so can’t say for certain, but GOOD brands who invest in data & decent marketing teams do their due diligence ahead of launching campaigns like this. You can always tell when a brand has skimped, or uses a tit agency, funnily I thought this when you guys were talking about Ferrari.

Also often brands engage in longer term deals with influencers so they can do some testing around what works best with that audience, and tbh verifying that they’re seeing ROI. So a hypothetical situation but Mercedes would either want to see a pitch deck from X showing her social analytics overview & in kind campaign performance and if it was amazing they may just jump in and gift a car. For smaller / emerging influencers they may want to test the waters and maybe they’d do an experience video and share to YouTube and see if they engaged, and pop a link w tracking parameters to see how many of her audience clicked through (and then how many exhibitEd high value behaviours eg downloaded a pdf of car specs or looked for their closest showroom, booked an appt) and THEN they may be gifted a car in stage two of work?

Imo the Instagram influencing industry is all very empowers new clothes and a lot of brands have just chucked tit at it and hope it sticks. This isn’t okay anymore, good CMOs expect to see data driven marketing decisions and clear ROI / growing marketing contribution (profit minus marketing spend). For high margin product this matters less - which is why you see everyone promoting teas, makeup, etc but for leaner margins or premium brands who want to protect their reputation they’re less Willy nilly with who they partner with.

Tbh I tbink she will only do things she can control completely and that don’t actually involve public shoots paid for by brands because she knows deep down she looks duck all like the image she presents. She’s safe with ITS because it’s a tit brand, run by a dimwit, and he’s so desperate for fame that he gives her free reign.. John gets to do all the photos and she manipulates ITS in to a free holiday/flat. Easy for everyone. I can’t imagine big reputable brands being so accommodating to the whims of a fake influencer.
Bonnie’s Ferrari one and Lydia’s various campaigns all involve images and footage that Lorna wouldn’t feel comfortable with doing at all. Fortunate really as they werent offering her anything, she just has to stick to the tat and pretend its where she wanted to pitch herself in the influencer market.

Hadnt read @heretoreaditall2019 when I wrote the above. But thanks for the insight. All Lorna’s followers and engagement surges come from giveaways, certainly this year. I’ve never seen the likes of Lydia or Bonnie even doing tit like that to lure in the likes. Her content is shockingly bad.

Shes out doing errands because the builders woke her up early (!) then she’s off to London for lunch with a friend, she’s got a lot of friends to see this week before they head off to Paris at the end of the week. Then she was waving around some weird Balenciaga sunnies that she couldn’t remember where she got them from (it was of course my Theresa we all remember that and the next segment was a swipe up aff link, shock) but she thinks they really suit her. Same as the Valentino ones. weird.

Okay so they’re there to shoot the collection and then they will just somehow end up back in England like they were before.. where the Paris flat was simply never mentioned again.

Don’t forget she wants / needs to be perceived as rich, famous & successful enough to just pick up and move to Paris. She has to keep up this narrative. I suspect the truth is much more basic, because if they were permanently ( indefinitely) moving to Paris.. she would have been bragging about it, she’s a narc, she couldn’t help herself and this has only happened since the talk of theOctober SHITdrop.

This is all about whipping up some curiosity..keeping people guessing. We know she’s not viewed any flats or houses in Paris as she’s been in London for the duration since back from Santorini! So it will be a similar set up to the London flat rental.
