Career crims are usually on normal courtyard exerciseCareer crims generally look down on people who harm kids, old ladies etc. That's why they have to keep certain criminals on a separate wing. Ex coppers also tend to get a hard time.
Yea! I have cptsd and some not very nice things that caused that. I am also neuro divergent & I don't go around behaving that way.I am sick of mental health, autism , PTSD being used as excuses for bleep behaviour. It's actually insulting.
It’s the drug charge being withdrawn has me thinking that. It’s always relevant to mitigation in court, and as mitigation it’s useful to know these things because they are an explanation. But, since it was announced this fool was in the marines, people have become really keen on labelling this as PTSD.
Interesting that the people that look for excuses for white men never want to consider the trauma that asylum seekers have experienced in their lives when they are dehumanising them and not giving a tit what happens to them as long as it’s not here.Yea! Many don't.
It’s a nice part of crocky park estate classed as west derby, looking at his address on google the house is gorgeous and looks like it didn’t come cheapHa ha I was thinking that, a stone throw from Norris green, look at poor Rhys Jones.
I disagree with this because [technically] you haven't murdered anyone until you're found guilty. People have to be able to defend themselves.Previous good character should not have any impact on sentencing. Once you murder someone, previous good character means absolutely nothing.
It's pointless though , who do they choose as character witnesses? People who know them probably love them so are biased.I disagree with this because [technically] you haven't murdered anyone until you're found guilty. People have to be able to defend themselves.
We know some of that. They could also throw up something he experienced on active duty that caused him to act that way, like PTSD ? We don’t know what his medical history is or why the sudden change in media reporting ( basically non existent today) why the drugs charges have vanished and the original charges have been downgraded to an extent.
They aren't biased as such, they just have experience of them in a different light. From memory because it's not an area I have dealings with, I don't think Character Witnesses can be related to you. It's pointless though , who do they choose as character witnesses? Unlikely to be tried in Liverpool, given the nature of the crime. It’s going to be difficult for him to get a fair trial if it’s tried in Liverpool, isn’t it?
They don’t really have character witnesses, for this reason. Anyone can get someone to say they’re lovely really. It's pointless though , who do they choose as character witnesses? People who know them probably love them so are biased.
People I know all wanting to bounce down the court in the morning!Unlikely to be tried in Liverpool, given the nature of the crime.
Absolutely brilliant postHe might look young for his age but I've always gone by the rule that if their neck is the same width as their head then they are a wrong 'un and nothing will convince me otherwise. Me and my husband call it the OCG neck.
Anyway, the guy is cooked. Whatever the motivations, mitigations or past history he will face justice because despite the paranoid ramblings of a high percentage, we do have a system in this country that means he will be incarcerated and have a record for life. He's lost his kids, home, business & likely lots of friends & family because he wanted to be the big I am and use his car as a weapon. I'd be looking at this in a wider context of 'Why are men (and it's mostly men) like this and what can we do to get a grip on the tide of violence they capture everyone in?' - it needs sorting out. I've got 2 lads and a girl and all of them are at risk of male violence - whether it's a up 1 punch murder in a town pub, inner city gang lads with knives, pretend 14 year old road men ragging about on electric bikes, or homeless men who cave women's heads in with their walking boots; male aggression and entitlement is the problem and the problem is dangerous.
I’m sure his defence will rely on dashcam footage as a big part of the trial. We know some of that.
The media reporting has died off because he was about to be charged. They now can't print anything.
The charges have been downgraded because attempted murder was highly unlikely to stick in this case.
The two GBH charges relate to the two most seriously injured. The others will relate to the next most seriously injured.
We don't know his medical history and nor should we. He's entitled to a defence.
I'll reserve judgement. It does seem like some people here know more about him but they are very sensibly not saying anything further.
We'll learn all we need to at the trial.
I'm quite tempted to drive over from Manc, but I'm getting my roots donePeople I know all wanting to bounce down the court in the morning!
You can probably go when he’s up in court properI'm quite tempted to drive over from Manc, but I'm getting my roots donefascinated to see if he pleads guilty.
