i get that they were on x factor but they’ve left that whole record label etc and i just think that it’s pretty naive to expect grown women to still make teeny bop music, yes they want to optimise their audience so they’ll do family friendly shows but they shouldn’t be criticised for singing about sex, it’s not really a taboo subject, or at least it shouldn’t be

Have they done this recently? I wouldn’t follow kids shows/magazines so I wouldn’t be that familiar with them. I think at the start they definitely tried to appeal to the younger market but I think they’ve tried to change over the past 2-3 years. A lot of their songs are about sex and they’ve worn skimpy costumes for the past few years which seems to be a new direction for them compared to their earlier stuff.

Yes I have a young daughter and they still definitely use young girls to commercialise off and know that’s where their money and fan base is

To be fair to Jesy, it looks like she already is working on her problem with social media. Until her statement about leaving the band, she hadn’t posted on Instagram since Halloween.
I think she may have been really struggling recently, and I feel for her. Like others have said, I really hope she can take time to heal, and find some peace.

I've got a feeling she'll still be reading comments tho even if she's not posting plus news articles etc. She may even visit here.

Tbh I think all of them have only had fillers. If I look at photos of me as a teenager versus now I can see how much my face has changed.......eyebrows and a tiny amount of lip fillers can make all the difference

Rumours have apparently spread on Twitter that her leaving had something to do with coke/rehab so you could be spot on.

Oh I hope she hasn't developed a substance misuse issue, that would be so sad and so hard to get into recovery.

I think it's really sad that Jesy has had to leave, although I do agree that it's probably the right decision. Health always comes before wealth in my opinion. She's made a success of herself anyway and leaving the band isn't a failure at all.

I think the best thing she can do is take some time away from the spotlight to focus on herself. She'll definitely have the money to keep her going for a while anyway. She really needs to be in the best possible headspace before even considering returning to the spotlight.

I can’t seem to find an actual clip of that promo video where yall were saying she looks high but in the screen grab..... yeah to me she looks like she could have been on coke. Could mot have been but all the other stuff adds up. I always think well why would they have filmed it then? But I imagine if they had had the filming booked in it may have been too much of a big stress to cancel it and also awkward to bring it up to her? Idk. It’s easy to self medicate tho when depressed

Just checked, it’s officially called a close contact cohort it’s mainly for the arts to allow productions to still go on!

The probably did performances apart and sat apart as to not wind the public up but they are allowed to get close as a cohort - if you google it there’s documents on the rules of being on a cohort!

Also, Ant and Dec formed a cohort before Britain’s for talent too and took regular tests every 4 days they never had to isolate from each other... all of the celebs in the jungle were in a cohort too as they were all mixing from different households for a month although they isolated you still can’t mix with anyone really outside of your bubbles with close contact https://tattle.life/threads/19920/

Thanks, I thought Ant and Dec isolated, or maybe they just formed a bubble together I can’t remember haha obviously whoever told me misunderstood. But knew they were getting tested regularly.

I knew they were doing it for west end productions although west end performers have to now live alone or with people from the production so they had less contact with people who they weren’t working with, but didn’t think little mix would be doing seeing, most presenters (Phill and Holly always distanced even though they work together everyday), tv performances (obvs jungle can’t social distance but soaps etc, have to film distanced, not allowed to share dressing rooms), and things like strictly, BGT the performers are in bubbles and not allowed to mix, the judges are/were always socially distanced and not allowed to mix and the presenters (bar Ant&Dec but BGT was back in August? So slightly different) are socially distanced and not allowed to mix. Also with the jungle the other celebs became their bubble so they couldn’t mix with their family’s until they had been tested and then once they rejoined their family’s bubble they couldn’t mix with the celebs again, so a little different.
