I'm actually shocked that she came on banging on about thank god its not her ovaries... really insensitive comment to make when people are still reeling from HSE's handling of cervix scandal and women who are going through this worrying time themselves...I for one am one of those people. Her stories actually upset me the way she kept banging on about it...very insensitive
Sorry to hear about your situation, I agree she was being totally insensitive & kept banging on about it - she has no regard for anyone but herself & her products. And then her racist remark, she’s really clueless.

She must be addicted to the gram, you’d think she’d give it a break for a day

I saw her with Bowie in apple green yesterday lunch time so I was very surprised to see the dramatic post last night. She is lucky to be telling the tale today if her appendix bursted, some dose. She could do with some of that tan water she is always talking about she was as white as a sheet on her storys today. I have a confession to make, I say Ghandis flip flop too ever since I heard it on Gordon Ramsey, I didn’t know people would have considered it racist? 🤷‍♀️ 😕

It is belittling actual racism.

Did she remove the story where she was talking about being worried about it being her cervix? I looked back and can only see the ones where she says she was worried about her kids. I took that up as she thought she had ovarian cancer because she says “what were they after finding” when the woman called someone. I dont think it is insensitive for her to say she was worried? I think when Terri mcavoid carried on like she had cancer was insensitive and disgusting and even Rosie, I think she should have waited for her results before making it content... but people are allowed to be upset and scared for their own situations even if there is worse going on in the world. Just my opinion anyways.

I didn't see it as insensitive if anything i thought her attitude was quite positive.. She had assumed worst case scenario and so although she was in a lot of pain was relieved it was appendix as apposed to cervix. I would be the same but that doesn't mean my heart doesn't break for people with cervix issues. She barely moaned about the appendix tbh which I know from experience is absolute agony

I have an ear infection and I am strongly considering calling South doc, dramatic soul that I’d be. I think some times people could lie down and let others walk on them and they would complain she wasn’t soft enough for their feet.

I think its more about how she said it not what she said... and re-emphasising the fact that she was panicking. She's a blogger and has a large following with real life people who suffer real life issues and aren't as lucky as her... a bit of tact with talking about the situation isin't much to ask of someone with such a platform. Again I'm happy its nothing serious but as someone who is going through it at the moment she could have had sensitivity to the fact other people aren't so fortunate.

Were we watching the same story?? Her appendix burst, she could have died. If she didn’t say it, she can’t be reprimanded for something someone took from her story, but wasn’t said or implied at all? I’m so very sorry to hear you are having a hard time healthwise at the moment, but you’re putting words in her mouth and you’re choosing to be offended over things she never said? Could we say the same about Rachel mcGorry? Oh she only lost a husband, sure people have buried kids what’s she crying about? People are allowed be frightened and scared for their own situation without always having to put strangers feelings and problems above their own.

I fully expect to be labelled as a fan girl again but as someone also going through investigations & treatments for cervical cancer at the moment (and for the last few years), I fully understood her panic and fear because it’s every woman’s worst nightmare.
She only said what every woman thinks, it’s not her fault that it’s reality for some people, myself included. I don’t think it’s insensitive, it’s a completely rational fear.
An inflamed appendix is scary but is a routine procedure, cancer is absolutely terrifying no matter what age you are.
And I don’t think me having cervical issues gives me a monopoly to dictate how other people assess their own health worries - someone is always going to have it worse, aren’t they?

I hope her stories might make more women take abdominal pain more seriously and seek earlier intervention, blogger drama aside we as women often put ourselves last and can sometimes end up really sick because we don’t prioritise ourselves.
More awareness needs to be raised on that front for sure.

I watched her story 3 times and not once did she say the word CERVICAL? she spoke about her Ovaries, thats two different parts of a woman's anatomy. If i was in pain down there i would be very worried. I actually respect her more for coming on after the operation rather than milking it all week before getting the results. I did not think she was looking for attention, in fact i have noticed she has become a lot more open of late. Now in saying that she would sell her nanny for a 5er :sneaky: but i think she is one of the best online at the moment.

I havent once commented on her burst appendix or down played the seriousness of that happening..all I commented on was her delivery and as much as you are entitled to an opinion SO am I. You are taking this way out of context...I never said she wasn't allowed to be afraid of her situation of course she is that's madness but as am I

I read that as you saying she was fortune not to have real life issues and that her health concern wasn’t serious. Do you know what sepsis is?

Well aware of what sepsis is and once again I am not taking away from the seriousness of what she had, I just commented that I personally wished she have more tact. I know what its like to be in fear of not knowing if its ovary pain or not and also having multiple appointments cancelled because of Covid as I'm going through it all at the moment and that's all I was saying. I am in no means trying to take away from what she went through

I hope things start improving for you. It’s disgraceful having essential appointments cancelled, I am in the same boat however mine is not as serious or stressful.

She never even took time off after and before her baby was born everything was on line. She has a serious addiction to her phone.
