Minor niggle but I wish the lettering on the packaging would last longer. Lisa has put so much thought into the shape of the foundation and tint bottles but both lettering is wearing off badly, more so in the tint because it’s used more

Reddit gonna Reddit - I'd imagine most of these women commenting are Americans and anything outside their Oppression Olympics hard-left US-centric view is evil. The awful evil Queen who was a monster racist or whatever 🤣 Anything 'Empire' pisses them off because to them it is all racist and evil versus a name that's hung around. If they are up in arms about it they should get pissy about the French Medal of Honor or the US Presidential Medal of Freedom eh? This more about my US perspective of other Americans online.

And as an American I think honoring people creating things be it various forms of art including makeup! or championing local things or old craft skills that are gone is great.

Thanks, that is actually quite useful. Some brands are notoriously bad for accurate swatches, so knowing LE is good on part of the spectrum does ease my worries a bit (particularly as the swatch of my skin tint is pretty much spot on on the site).

A trek to a counter might be in order, then. Ah well, such struggles we must overcome 😁

Is anyone else finding that as they get older that less is more?
If I wear a full face I feel I look older than if I keep it light. I can’t be bare faced if I go out so I think Skin Tint may help.
Yes, my signature look used to be a chocolatey neutral smokey eye, even for daytime. Then very little else and a nude lip gloss. Since my late 40s I've found that ageing unless it's a night out. Now I've moved over to neutral eye shadow thats barely visible, tiny amount of black or brown eyeliner, mascara, subtle blush and a reddish lip - depending on time of year. I have a scarlet or berry opaque shade in autumn/winter and a scarlet, orangey red or pinky red more sheer shade in spring and summer.

I think that's why I've stopped watching loads of MUAs on YouTube and just watch Lisa, Wayne Goss and Caroline Barnes. There's very few that don't go all out glam, which just looks like drag on me now 😭

I wonder how many influencers were on the train in total?

An influencer I watched a review from flew in from the USA for the junket, so maybe there were a few international influencers there too. It'd be interesting to know if flights/accommodation were part of the "experience".
All in the name of “recyclability” 🙃

Mine has arrived! I’ll let you know how I get on with it later today. It’s slightly darker in the tube then I expected but I haven’t swatched it or anything.

Things I like in her collection: the lipsticks and glosses (though I'm not much of a gloss wearer); the shadow palettes (have Vega and Sorcery), the foundation and skin tint. I am 10 in the foundation and the T6 matched me perfectly. It's lovely coverage and this is coming from someone who prefers full coverage. It has a very pretty finish. Enjoy the mist and the highlighter. I have one colour in the liquid shadow and it's fine.

On the fence about the mascara and liner; they are ok but probably would not repurchase given the prices. The blush (which I think has now been discontinued) was awful - could NOT get anything to come out of the tube. I am on the fence about the liquid lipsticks. I find the doe foot picks up slightly too much product and it's messy to apply. Will try again using a lip brush to get product off the wand and see if that makes a difference. Hate the cleanser as it leaves a greasy film on my skin no matter how little I use (but love the new Victoria Beckham cleansing duo).

I do look forward to her releases. She does great product videos and in general, she's just so informative and pleasant. Hoping she sells in some locations outside of the UK as the duties are ruinous!

I just got Epanoui from Liberty (was topping up my spend for the fab GWP) and omg it’s gorgeous! The texture is magnificent and the colour is buildable. Perfect match to my lips, and so balmy. I wont use it for work (12 - 14 hour days that are public facing) - I have 2 Velveteen Liquid Lip colours for that - but for every day not work, it’s my new favourite.

Well, I thought I was completely uninterested but apparently I am weak. I think the case is beautiful, the formula looks like *the* one, perfect balance of creamy and lasting, I could probably pick any of the shades and be very happy.

That said, I'm not ordering one. I'm job hunting at the moment so might treat myself if I ever get a flipping offer.

I would love this! The only option I've seen for my last few purchases has been the denim bag, so I have 2 of them.

Ashes of Roses is one I am eyeing but I really, really don't need more stuff! I do need to purge more of what I have. I'd gone through things, only swatched or even not used (ugh I am such a consumer), so thinking I can donate them to this local charity that gives women makeup, skincare, clothes etc for work, job interviews, that kind of thing.
You have to spend over £120 for the Liberty Bag. It also doesn’t prompt you to add the freebie so you need to find it under accessories and add it yourself and then it should show as free.

I finally opened the mascara yesterday. I absolutely love it, didn't clump lasted all day and annoyingly it's the best mascara I've used

The velvet rain lippie lasted most of the day too, and I even managed the lipliner which is a miracle with one working hand 😂

I’m so over Summer and I can’t wait for Lisa’s new launches. Even if I don’t buy (I normally do 🫣) I love watching her launch videos and learning about her product and shade inspiration. She really is the best in the business in so many ways. Genuine, a true aesthete and artist. A world apart from the fake ass dahlings entrepreneurs that peddle the insta hun blow up doll looks
I love her launch videos. They are the only youtuber ads that I really enjoy. She does such a good job of selling them, not in a pushy way, that I haven't bought anything that I haven't liked other than dragon pulling terracotta brown on me and not the tomatoey red everyone else gets!

I also love her christmas gift ideas that she does beginning of November and the videos of things she's been loving. The last one I watched I'd bought two of the products whilst the video was still on, because if she says it's good, I believe her. I'm such a fangirl, but I dont care!

My order arrived today which is the fastest I've ever got something from her website.

Betty is gorgeous and the pics just don't do it justice. Seeing the colours in daylight and sunshine, they sparkle so much more. I can't wait to do some spring looks with it. I'll dip my toe in gently and use one shade over one of her matte liquid eyeshadows.

She’s matched her lipstick to the ribbon! 😆 So Lisa.
Anyone else then I’d have cringed at the MBE engraved lipstick but fingers crossed it was done tongue in cheek rather than for ego.
