Especially because she makes being pregnant and planning pregnancy part of her identity! She is vapid, and home renos and being pregnant give her a personality. So whyyyyy the duck doesn't she do it properly? Also, why the duck doesn't she work with some business dev and communications strategist experts to help her straighten her tit out? I mean, I know why, she thinks she's a marketing genius and good at business ... but Lily, we know you read here and YOU ARE NOT. You might have been, but you didn't keep up with the times. Get a comms strat. Get a BD sepcialist. Get a (young) SM intern (and pay them) if you want to save your brand. I loathe her but something I loathe more (as someone who actually works in the real world of marketing) is watching people tank brands due to stubborness. And Lily is tanking her own brand because she will just not get her tit together. That said, the internet world would prob be a better place without her, so good riddance.
I genuinely dislike her; like many people on here, I originally watched her bc I am her target demographic. I found her for London content and used to tune in to her and Anna for makeup and general entertainment. Back then it was a bit aspirational. Then I thought she was pathetic after her mat leave, with all the whining about being a mom (it isn't that hard if you have 2 neurons firing), and then during quarantine and BLM that actively turned into hate watching bc she really showed her true colors as a money grubbing, ignorant opportunist. And now I smug watch - she's just useless despite having robust resources, and she gave away her dignity for access to even more resources that could get her further ahead professionally, but it is like she actively shuns the opportunity to improve. It is MIND BOGGLING!
She needs to get the duck over to Lululemon and spend a few hundred bucks OF HER OWN MONEY on a larger sized pair of Align leggings and a few pairs of the Stretch High Rise 7/8 pants. Mother of God.
I would have sympathy for her if she was plus sized pre-pregnancy and then during pregnancy had sized out of a lot of maternity wear (or non-maternity since all these twats seem to think it’s embarrassing to wear clothing from a line that is specifically made for pregnant bellies), but she wasn’t and she hasn’t.
I like J Crew trousers, which you can find on Zalando in the EU, but JC also ship to the EU now. For autumn, I'm eyeing some cheap Mango trousers that aren't as fitted, so I can refresh my look without spending a ton since we are still working from home and not traveling. I don't like buying fast fashion, but have done so a couple of times since last winter since this feels like a very strange style time. And when I say "have done so," it's less than 10 items. When I'm more sure of my style and my activities (professionally and personally) I plan on doing a bigger, high-end wardrobe refresh, but for now I am not investing in that area since we don't go anywhere!
I don't understand why Lily won't work with a stylist either! She did that Insta live with that woman, can't remember who, and she was SUCH a witch to her. (You know, the one where she said she looks Jewish in skirts.)
Also, we've just had the Jewish High Holidays and her closest commemoration was eating apple and honey without context. Therefore the next time another minority's cause is at the forefront of current events, I don't want to hear a bleeping word about Lily trying to pull focus to her because she's Jewish. You cannot pick, choose and use your identity like that. It's one thing if she keeps it always private; that is completely understandable! But don't whip it out your back pocket to be woke, get likes and try to stay current (because we also know being woke is not Lily, she's classist and xenophobic.)

The complete aversion against maternity wear is baffling. Especially as Lily always said they wanted more than one. It would actually be a smart decision. And doesn’t she have sisters and friends that would borrow her stuff? When I gave my stuff away, the bag came bigger than before. Nobody says you need 20 pants and 50 tops. And she has so many oversized sacks, she can easily get away with like 10 tops?
The times of complete formless and frumpy maternity clothes is long over. There are many affordable and fashionable options. And have been for at least 5 years (I would even argue 10). You can show as much or little bump as you like (and as your bump let’s you). Putting together 5 cute outfits, maybe even with gasp the normal working mum to be in mind, shouldn’t be a problem at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if he asked her to. 19k views in 13 hours and yet somehow I find it extremely hard to believe Lily's income hasn't taken at least a dip. Lily is just not aspirational ppl watch her for entertainment purposes only (hence vlogs/reno/baby content do ok views number wise). I dare someone to ask Lily if another influencer produced the same quality of content as she does would she actually watch it and find it inspirational? If she were honest she would say she wouldn't. Lily doesn't know how to do anything else, she can't work/function in an office setting. Then again, it's become increasingly clear Lily was raised in a family where it is common to work part time or with family that will give you flexibility. Jojo works part time (and i say work losely), her other sister works for her dad as does her mum but I just know they are given an incredible amount of flexibility that they wouldn't have if they weren't related.
stories delete after 24 hours so most of the ones from the start of the evening are gone now. Including the one of her stomping around and the one of her smearing her bread in dip then ending with no dip on the bread

I'm a part-time working Mum myself so I'm not getting at her for working less hours - but that coupled with lacklustre 'ideas', lack of strategy etc... has really shown since having Grey.

If she was really comitted to it she could get loads more done with her time but she isn't

My daughter is 14. There were plenty of nice maternity clothes around when I was expecting her. Isabella Oliver was great for some basics which I wore constantly. There were also other brands which I can't remember now. I was advised early on not to buy usual clothes in larger sizes. I didn't buy lots of clothes when pregnant and rewore them two years later during my second pregnancy.
Joey aka Niomi’s ex gave out the same vibe like Rich, before he dumped Niomi. He was so over the camera. Lily has been singing too much praises about Rich lately, maybe Rich told her he needs more affection

The maternity clothes thing would also make sense if she generally didn’t like buying new clothes, there’s loads of tips out there on how to make your normal wardrobe work for you when pregnant to minimise waste. But she buys multiple new fast fashion items every single season, so there would have been no harm adding a pair of maternity jeans and a smart pregnancy event dress into her wardrobe temporarily.
I agree - Rich is giving Joey vibes. He is clearly over being filmed and just seems a bit checked out. This was meant to be a romantic night out to celebrate their anniversary (the anniversary Lily forgot about!) and Lily clearly didn't get the memo. Lily, I think, feels very comfortable and in control of their relationship, not only because she is the main earner, but also because Rich pursued her at the beginning of their relationship and felt 'lucky' when she finally showed interest in him. I do wonder though if he's close to breaking point. He certainly looks it sometimes.
You have put it so well, I felt very mean to be saying her relationship seems different. Also how weird is it that you asked your partner to film you having heartburn at your anniversary dinner, rocking left and right. My partner will ask me to get a grip and not something you do in camera. The same tit as filming herself going to emergency appointment when Grey was born, filming herself because Grey was in A&E…she doesn’t know when is it appropriate
