I don’t understand why she doesn’t just pluck out those stray, sticking-up eyebrows hairs?

I mean, fair enough, I’m not a “beauty guru”, so what do I know, but if this were my eyebrows… I would just pluck out the offending hairs in the morning.

WHY can’t she just do that?

I think they have to be cut when they get like that. And that is hard to do, admittedly. I’ve been trying to grow my brows to be more substantial in width and length, and I see that some of them are longer like that. I get them cut in the salon but the time I did it at home was a train wreck. But she could trim them lightly bc she has soooo much brow, or tame them with gel.

Her eyebrows annoy me more than they should and it's down to her I mUsT LoOk PrEsEnTaBlE fOr My WoRk hair attitude. She made a song and dance about absolutely having to flat iron her poor damaged hair yet she regularly zooms in on her revolting ungroomed eyebrows that look like they are about to come to life and crawl off her face
Make it make sense, Lily!!!!

Just watched her first trimester video. Wow. Moan moan moan… so tired by 12 o’clock. Imagine having your partner home all day, whom seems to have Grey majority of the time. I’m 13 weeks.. up everyday for work at 3am full shift home by 12.30 to my 2 year old. You know normal life! Like majority of us! Imagine moaning about how hard your life is when all you do is film a few videos and stay at home all day. Yawn yawn yawn. How people find her entertaining astonished me!

Won’t quote the whole post, but bang, absolutely spot on.

I asked my partner last night if he’d pluck a rogue chin hair I had - I didn’t need or want him to, I just wanted to see his reaction - and he said ‘fuck off, that’s gross’ And he’s seen me give birth twice and have gastro etc., usual sharing of a bathroom with me without a flinch.

I am on edge. On the one hand living in another country for some time and diving into a different culture is a fantastic experience. But I absolutely understand why that is not for everyone. And it’s ok if you don’t want to do it.
Thing is, there are enough people moving to another country for an extended period of time and then just stay in their ex-pat bubble. Not learning the language properly, not making a real effort to build relationships with natives…. It’s still a big experience but also pretty shallow. When you miss out on food, tv, clubs, customs and traditions you are never fully experiencing it. The every day life and things that are just ingrained in us through our socialisation are pretty different (example: blew my mind that supermarkets are open on a Sunday in the UK).
Naomi player it safe in India (and she tried more than I though she would and with the flat she might have surprised us if it had worked out) and that’s exactly what Lily would do.

These are from a few days ago but forgot to post.
A little book for Grey but why do I think Lily would benefit from reading it too.

I hope she cleaned under the nails before she painted them.

LOL no words here

I finally unfollowed her on instagram (unfollowed her on yt about a year ago already) but still come here to keep up I enjoy the Lily chat, what can I say.

As someone who's not from the EU (even though I'm European, white, and speak English decently well), I find moving abroad as such a bold move. People from my country can move either if they're extremely good at school/their job, thus earning an academic or professional position abroad, or if they are so poor and desperate they'd do anything to escape. I'm somewhere in the middle, so even though I considered moving abroad a lot, I see more negatives than positives in it (thanks to visas and all the constraints and hoops you jump through aa a non-EU citizen). I'd love to be able to move freely, go somewhere for a couple months at a time to work or travel.

Lily has a unique position as you all have said, with her "job", passport, and money would allow her to move practically anywhere without much issue. However, I don't think she should. We've all seen how self-centered and dumb she can be towards anything/anyone foreign, so I can see her easily insulting the locals or local culture, thinking it's below her and her London standards. I say, stay where you are Lily, nobody needs you abroad anyways.
