I literally came here to comment that he’s got some colour around him!! It’s lovely to see
Many years ago she was crying into the camera how she couldn't afford a dining table... so she's probably still waiting to be gifted a £1000 oneWhere does all the furniture go? Is that room always empty?

I would say he’s 100% behind in his development or has possibly got a learning disability, at 2 he should be mumbling words not just basically grunting that way. And the fact that she says he has his milk and wants to go out every morning to me means he likes the routine which isn’t that quite typical of something like autism? My son is only 10 months and makes those kinds of noises river was making in her video this morning.. he’s just turned 2, should he still be making noises like that?
Wishing you and your son all the best. My son is also pre verbal and on the ASD pathway, he’s 3 in August. Took me a long time to get to grips with it, but now I’m glad I did as he’s getting the support he needs now. XIt makes me sad when I see videos of wee River. My son was 10 months when we went into lockdown and missed out on so much. No interaction, no playgroups, no parks. It had a huge impact on him. He is now being assessed for ASD and is non(pre) verbal and he makes noises like River. It’s taken a lot to get my head round and is and emotional journey but Jade please have him assessed. Please speak to someone. And please take him out. There is no lockdown anymore, there is no excuse to not take him to these things. And it will help him massively. Do you think it’s why she stays in because she knows he’s behind?
My daughter is also on the pathway, she was 2 in December.Wishing you and your son all the best. My son is also pre verbal and on the ASD pathway, he’s 3 in August. Took me a long time to get to grips with it, but now I’m glad I did as he’s getting the support he needs now. X
I class pre verbal as saying some words. Or professionals think they will communicate soon. We haven’t been seen by any SLT yet, but he says singular words and repeats some things I say. So he’s not completely non verbal but there’s also no verbal communication xMy daughter is also on the pathway, she was 2 in December.
Can I please ask what is classed as pre verbal?
