My son has a speech delay and I’ve fought for nearly two years to get him speech therapy. He’s now got his first session in October and typically has spoke more and more the closer it’s getting.. it makes me so angry that she was ignorant to Rivers struggles and shrugged it off with “he’ll grow out of it” attitude. Early intervention could have helped that little boy so much and I honestly believe if he had been a girl she’d have got it.
