The trouble with Jade is that she's a prickly witch. She expects loads of sympathy when it suits her, but if anyone suggests to her that things could be done differently or she's wrong about something, she goes off on one. She's so immature. She's probably had people try and suggest that all isn't quite right with River, and she's probably had a massive hissy fit

Admittedly River is six months older than my son… but he’s had people fuss over him every time we’ve gone out since he was a proper wee’un. Because we actually go out, and have done since he was a few days old. All she’s done there, as you say, is highlight what strange, sheltered lives they lead.
Who does she want to make a fuss of river? I don't make a fuss of random kids I don't know. Might say hello in the park or whatever. And no one makes a fuss over my kids. The shop keeper may speak to them but that's about it.

Right don’t judge me because I know that boys and girls don’t ‘own’ colours etc but….. this is very much Jade being ‘tell me you wanted a girl without telling me you wanted a girl’ with the birthday decorations!!
River is in colour!? This is legitimately the first time I have seen him in something other than beige/brown/grey
And it's so nice to see him smiling and excited, bless him x
