This is my engagement & wedding rings. It's Monica Vinader signature ring in silver with little diamonds on the engagement ring. I picked it & I think it's perfect.

I’m not engaged (yet) but the other day my boyfriend asked me to send a photo of a ring that I like. I didn’t really put much thought into it and found a picture on google images and send him the link. He replied later saying that the one I had picked was 50k 🤣🤣🤣🤣 think he had a mini heart attack!

Here’s mine.

MIL said I was wrong for wearing them this way round ( engagement ring should be close to your heart or some rubbish ? ) sorry but I prefer them this way. ❤
Apparently it’s the other way round! So the way you’re wearing them is correct! 🥰

This is lovely. I often don't like wedding bands that are made to fit engagement rings because they look weird on their own, but yours is really pretty.
Thanks 😊
I know exactly what mean! The one that was sold to go with it was such a weird shape on its own and was a very thin band. I can wear my engagement ring for work so I was conscious of how the wedding ring looked on its own.
The other wedding ring also had diamonds all the way around, I'm not supposed to wear a ring with stones in work so I spin my ring round so it looks like a plain band 🙈

Don't want to share just in case someone recognises it but mine is a little 0.50ct cluster on a thin 18ct yellow gold band. We got engaged and then went ring shopping, I tried on so many and it was the only one that felt me.

My hands are gross just now (I blame constant washing haha!) so have found a more glam hand. But this is mine. It’s an asscher cut on a platinum band. The cut makes it nice and twinkly. Tend to just wear my wedding band though and not the ring

I don't want to put anyone off their food by uploading a pic of my psoriasis marked hand so I found this pic of my ring.

My MIL has a large stoned trilogy engagement ring and was upset that I wasn't inspired by her ring. I love trilogy rings but they look like knuckle dusters on me because I have small hands and thin fingers. She said my ring looks boring like something you'd get from accessorize, and then added, but at least its not fancy like mine so it won't draw too much attention to your cracked hands' 🙄
Luckily I don't give a flying duck what she thinks of it 💃.
Your ring is lovely and I can’t see anything wrong with your hand.

Your MIL sounds a right piece of work! 🙄

My ring is like this one and my wedding ring is the shape below so it fits together nicely. Its no big bling but I still love it!
That's quite similar to mine, except my engagement ring is a solitaire and the back of the wedding ring has divets that fit my eternity ring. I usually only wear the wedding ring though. It probably looks a weird shape to others but I like it because the bit that fits around the engagement ring is curved, so it sort of looks like a wave.

Same here. I was recently engaged but by long distance (England, South Africa). So I suppose its only a verbal engagement at present
After returning to England last weekend I have to self-isolate. And against my best wishes my g/f came over last night to look after me as I haven't been too well.

Anyway, just before we retired for bed she took to one side and asked me to open a little present. And inside was this!

She took my right hand and slipped it on - a perfect fit. (les partners sometimes prefer right hand to left hand for ERs and WRs)

I was totally overwhelmed to the point of bursting out crying with joy, and for the simplistic/understated design, which is what I have always hinted at when discussing ERs with her in the past.

So its now official, and I can't stop looking at it :giggle:
