I don't have an engagement ring (long story), and for my wedding ring I picked something in a rush (again, a long story) that I don't like and since i also have big hands it just kind of gets lost.
I keep dropping hints for our 10 year wedding anniversary in a couple of years that I would like something new that actually reflects who I am, and one that would be a better symbol of our relationship and love. I guess I can keep dreaming!

Not my hand, but this is my ring! I have been in love with the designer for YEARS, I was shocked he got it because the jeweller is in the USA. Morganite centre stone with white sapphires around it

This is as close to mine as i can find.mine was made for me but modelled on a picture of this ring as I'd pointed it out.1ct white gold and platinum I have the eternity ring above and the wedding bad for below when we finally do it

I think your MIL is jealous that you have dainty handsI don't want to put anyone off their food by uploading a pic of my psoriasis marked hand so I found this pic of my ring.
My MIL has a large stoned trilogy engagement ring and was upset that I wasn't inspired by her ring. I love trilogy rings but they look like knuckle dusters on me because I have small hands and thin fingers. She said my ring looks boring like something you'd get from accessorize, and then added, but at least its not fancy like mine so it won't draw too much attention to your cracked hands'
Luckily I don't give a flying duck what she thinks of it.

mine is more square as they couldn't replicate it exactly and my eternity the diamonds go all way round so slightly different but not noticeable from afar.Wow wow wow just went to follow her on Instagram. Cushion cut halo has ALWAYS been my dream ring. So pissed off every celeb is getting them now as it will just look like im copying 
I have a round solitaire 3.01 ct engagement ring. With a really intricate thick band for my wedding ring. I don't want to show my actual hand as they are distinctive- but this is the engagement ring from the shop hubby got it from.
