The industry/sector is booming at the moment and has been steadily increasing over the past 5 years. Crying out for skilled staff. So no it’s not necessary to move to UK to have a decent career here in that sector. Many irish production companies supply to international vendors such a bbc Netflix etc. Not just the two main broadcasters
