It’s not just a photoshoot. YouTube pays you way more if you post from USA than from Dubai or somewhere in Europe. So her claim that she moved for her career it’s still correct. She also mentioned that she is doing some courses to learn how to invest her money because her parents never talked about investing and so on. People make millions on YouTube i am not worried about her future.

All of it is the same industry now and this is how L.A works, influencers are getting paid in exposure just like the other folk, also Google ad sense has changed YouTube revenue income and they are no longer making that much, that’s the main reason Anncy ran to start that podcast. Also if your in social media marketing you would know that people are now investing money to look like influencers and a lot of brands have gotten so smart they now have influencers paying for their stuff and using their image and paying them in exposure. A lot of new age influencer companies work like this, they are no longer paying people to advertise there stuff like they use to because the market over saturated. Therefore people are now content with poping up on a company Instagram site or webpage to feel like a influencer with zero dollars added to the bank account.

And for the above poster if they didn't buy a property in cash, a mortgage for a property 1m+ would be within the realms of 4k a month repayment give or take so paying rent around this amount would still be in a similar bracket. Perhaps a bit less given the locations not being that prestigious but 2-3k a month rent even is not a lot for someone with money.
