I liked his Universal video…we’re going for the first time in May and are actually more excited than we were for Disney 😬 I do wish I could see all the Christmas stuff!
Just means you'll have to go back. Go to the projection show at Studios, it's amazing.

Last time I was in Orlando I went to the Magic Kingdom Christmas party, but not the Universal Studios one. After seeing Kyles vlog of it, I really wish I had. It looks fantastic, and the Hogwarts castle projection is something I would love to see in person. Kyle definitely sold that experience for me.

The great thing about Christmas at Universal is that--unless they've changed it--it's all included in park admission except for the VIP stuff. I mean, I guess you don't get free snickerdoodles and the ability to purchase exclusive merch. But you get the parade, the Grinch, and their decorations, which blow the MK ones out of the water, especially this year. And even the VIP experience isn't that much money.

They used to have a Death Eaters projection show on Hogwarts in the summer and fall. I hope they bring that back next year.

Universal Orlando doesn't quite have the cohesion Disney World does, and it doesn't have the nostalgia factor, but the things they do better, they do SOOOO much better. More affordable hotels with better amenities, and while I don't have a basis for comparison for Galaxy's Edge, Wizarding World feels like a complete experience while Pandora feels like a cool ride with theming. My husband, who is not a theme park fan and utterly detested Disney World, loves UO.

There’s not even exclusive merch at the Disney Christmas event this year! I think you get MUCH more for your money from Universal. And you don’t have to plan so effing much for months and months in advance. They did the Death Eater experience during the Halloween season, I saw some great videos. Galaxy’s Edge was meh for me; I’ve never seen Star Wars 😂 As much as people are shocked at the price tag of the Star Wars hotel thing…if that was a Harry Potter experience? I’d absolutely pay it!

I recommend watching Poseidon Entertainment on YouTube. He does great comparison videos. He mentioned in one that MGM Studios was basically created after a future Disney exec was in meeting about Universal Studios. Very interesting stuff!

Sorry, I know this was off topic!

Disney parks in the Eisner era (while he did a lot of positive things) were VERY reactionary. MGM Studios to compete with Universal Orlando, Animal Kingdom to compete with Busch Gardens Tampa. Even California Adventure to compete with...well, California.

Kyle and JoJo both made stops at the Holiday "Herth" booth at Festival of the Holidays. Either they coordinated it, or they are both that dim.

Uhhhm, I’m also dim as I would have pronounced it ‘herth‘ as well 😳 🤣 I don’t come across that word very often, even at Christmas.

The mispronunciations are fine by me, at least Kyle laughs at himself over it.

Kyle is planning to book a spontaneous trip in December. I’m intrigued to know what it is. I’m thinking some kind of cruise. Kind of want him to do a non Disney cruise if it is, maybe Royal Caribbean again. That was good. I was watching the first Disney cruise he went on two years ago with Lora. He went parasailing 😂 It was a lot more fun than the last Disney cruise he went on, probably because no COVID then. His family is also coming back in December. Can’t go wrong with more family vlogs. Maybe it’s a family cruise they are planning.

He was also talking about going to Hoop de Doo when they reopen. They should get him up on stage again, those vlogs where he goes on stage are a lot of fun.

I thought he was going on a cruise with his family. Didn't they kind of announce that?

I don't know if they were specific, but I know his mom said something about being back in December and Kyle shushed her.

Come on down! So I'm confused I've read quite a but about his dad on Tattle but can't work out if he's actually a lawyer or clown, i thought he was a game show presenter when I first heard him say come on down

LOL! He's a professional clown. I didn't know he was a lawyer??

I loved his vlogs with his fam. And I get that the "come on down" thing is a catch phrase. But it's become "fetch" for me. Stop trying to make it a thing, it's never going to happen 😂 His dad is my least favorite part of his family vlogs. He's just constantly in "clown persona" mode and it gets really annoying. LOVE Alexa, and their mom is just too sweet.

I really like his dad, but I totally understand why some wouldn’t. The clown thing could be too much after a while. I just think he can’t help himself. His mom really is sweet though, anyone see the vlog where she went down the water slide at Noah’s Ark water park in Wisconsin Dells? That was just the best.

I'd watch Chita "Riviera" narrate the Candlelight Processional with Kyle.
