Awww in my youf Harri it was just one channel BBC,tele finished about 10 pm (might have been earlier) then commercial Tv came along but you had to have your TV set Commercialised by Tv engineer,it was a box on Tv.obviously later came BBC2.

I loved it when we had 3 channels. There seemed to be more quality TV.

And if you wanted to watch something, you had to sit & watch when it was on, if there was a power cut, tough!! We had a rented telly at one point, if Mum didn't have a 50p to put in it then we watched nowt anyway national anthem at midnight on BBC

I could cry out for pease pudding,god I loved it.Mum used to mix it wth butter,we had it with lovely saveloys,Proper ones.Carrots as well.Oh bugger my weekly order doesn’t have it.

Same here. I'm trying to use my slow cooker more at weekends, especially while it's cold, but son's been on stupid shifts the last month as they're short staffed so not much point. I've run my freezer down too, hence ferreting about in it

It's worse than that, even the thought of it makes the hairs on my arms stand up, it's like when you was a kid having an ice cream at the seaside, some would drip down on your hand and the taste of it mixed with salty water if you'd been in the sea the only time I ever put a spoonful of salted caramel ice cream in my gob I had to run to the sink & me Mum always taught me spitting is rude but out it had to come I'm afraid

Roast beef,has to be English mustard and horseradish Thankyou..gorgeous,I lve though fresh y grated horseradish rather than sauce.with a lovely fresh mashed suede..
