#Cat lifeSidenote: As I was typing that my little cat walked right up beside me and proceeded to piss on my good blanket!!! I have just screamed mid sentence. She meanwhile has sauntered off to sit on the windowsill and lick her arse.

Oh no, I hope your drip turns out to be just a little thing, it's a nightmare! I always say any disaster is fine except bloody water! I manage the property I live in so thankfully it's not me paying for the skip, did not realize how spendy they are until I saw the invoice! Depending on where you are some charity's do pick up at home for items you want to donateI've started a huge declutter & wish I hadn't bothered I need a skip & I can't afford 1......so that'll be more crap in the shed for now
No outside lights today because we'd drown putting them out.
We have a dripping ceiling Other half currently trying to find out the problem. I'm crossing everything that it's nothing expensive
@Facehugger it was Dec 2010 when we had the freak snow fall. Walked to the supermarket with a sledge to pull the shopping home couldn't get to work for over a week. We were eventually dug out by builders with diggers! Couldn't get out my back door. Eldest son built a snow slope from the lounge window into the back garden & was actually sledging out the window. Had to climb out the kitchen window to get out for 2 days as the snow was nearly to the top of the front door. Strange times indeed
Oh god, bless you I know it was bad that year, I'd never seen anything like it even as a kid. I had to keep my car dug out as I still had to see to Mother, that was bloody dicey as duck bit hey ho. By the finish it was right to the top of my washing line in the garden where it had drifted in the corner, it was indeed very strange times xI've started a huge declutter & wish I hadn't bothered I need a skip & I can't afford 1......so that'll be more crap in the shed for now

Merry Christmas everyone
We rarely get it in Jersey Jakey; thank goodness as I'm terrified of the stuff and refuse to go out. The 3rd time I broke my arm was due to falling in the snow after an op on my leg- it shattered and had to be plated and pinned! I must add that it broke again 6 months later where it wasn't plated! I'm very accident proneI think Iβm the only Krunchie here who hasnβt had any snow this year the last time we had snow at Christmas was in 2010
Poor you! Snow breaks are especially awful as compact snow is like concreteWe rarely get it in Jersey Jakey; thank goodness as I'm terrified of the stuff and refuse to go out.
