Man, it brings me no joy to say that I feel as though all of the parents need to take care of the children they have. Why not adopt? All of the joy and much less risk. Seriously. Love you guys.

I would say that adoption would be a great option and is something we might consider in the future. But we have two healthy embryos just sitting there waiting to be implanted. One boy and one girl. We feel in our souls that we have to try and give them a life. We can't just let them die without at least attempting to bring them into the world.

They are not alive, so obviously, you will not "let them die." I hope Tess's well-being matters, not to mention potentially saving a life by adoption.

They are alive. They are fertilized. They have cells that divide. They have their own DNA. They may not be fully formed humans, but they are alive in every definable way. And as we have said many many times, Tess' health is our number one priority. Period.
I don't know what to say about their feelings regarding the embryos and the fact that they have to give them a chance at life.
