Aww I proper loved One of the Boys. Teenage Dream had banger after banger but I think everything she’s done since then has missed the mark. She should just retire with her riches, handsome man and kid before she starts to enter tragic territory, which she pretty much has now anyway. I saw that TikTok live of her thrusting at the camera and basically died. I’ve started to get secondhand embarrassment from her, and if you’d told me 10 years ago I’d end up feeling pity for KATY PERRY I wouldn’t have believed you.

I was looking up how many singles and albums she has sold and I was surprised, to be honest. When it comes to singles, her last that sold over 1m was Dark Horse back in 2013. With her albums, OOTB got over 7m. Her best-selling to date was Teenage Dream which was 12m worldwide. Prism got just over 6m, Witness with 516,000 and Smile at the end with 64,000. This also proves people have been getting bored with her for a while and it's not just all of a sudden like some seem to be saying.

I think it could be hard to compare now it's streaming and the ever changing calculations they use to determine a sale. Youtube videos get a a fraction of the views they used to get. Roar has 4 billion views,

She's gonna be Jennifer Lopez #2. While releasing an album, she talks about a tour. The tour is announced and then the album flops and ticket sales are low so it is changed to a Greatest Hits tour. This changes nothing so the tour is cancelled with some bull excuse about personal reasons. I wonder what her excuse will be?

I love it how they keep pretending the signed album is out of stock for a day, before then it comes back in stock for a couple of days, repeat repeat as they have been doing for the last month. I’m not one for conspiracy theories (well, I am but I don’t usually believe them) but how on earth did she win that award? Most iconic performance up against Madonna, Britney and Christina’s and Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi?! And it was fan voted?! Nah, I’m not buying it. Couldn’t even remember it til I saw it on Twitter about 30 minutes ago.

Also, OT, but who is Chappell Roan? Saw her arrival and outfit (very cool) and the performance looked awesome til I pressed unmute and heard the most mid song I’ve ever listened to.
