I have to say I work nearby and though I haven’t been back for a while due to Covid (working from home) I have seen them both in the local area a few times and they both seem really pleasant. It is a spenny area though. But very unique in London, quiet, family orientated and kind of out of the way-yet central. It’s very sought after place to live.

So do we think G is paying for almost everything now? She has a decent incime, but enough for 2k pcm plus a deposit to buy in a lovely part of London? That plus all the expensive hotels, meals out in high end restaurants and trips to waitrose. She had to live with roomates before to make it work, and shopped in tesco.

Yeah but when you add up how much influencers get gifted:
- makeup,
- skincare/bodycare - including specialised acne and eczema products;
- clothes;
- cute/sexy lingerie;
- in Katie's case, sex toys. I bet that since she started adding sex content, she gets gifted lube, condoms and whatnot (and if you want good quality lube/condoms/toys, they would be expensive);
- meal/stays - maybe not so much now, but she still got gifted that big meal from Charlie Bigham brand that she cooked last week, she gets free booze too
and possibly more!
If you add up how much you might be saving on the above, you can easily pay a little extra for a nice apartment or a fancier hotel.
I also think she makes a lot more than she lets on, I think she's just stingy and doesn't like spending her own money. I hope I recall correctly, but I think she was already putting a little money aside every month to save for a deposit on a house, either when she was still with her ex, or when she lived by herself/with friends. She also drives a small-ish car which means cheap insurance, cheap road tax and not much petrol.

I have a friend in my home country who is a medium size YouTuber over there. She does fashion, culture and a bit of beauty. When she began being popular, she started to have clothing and accessories gifted, she received makeup and skincare product for testing (sometimes so much she couldn't get through it herself so she passed on friends and family). Can you imagine not having to worry about buying shirts, jeans, dresses or lipstick, body lotion, even fragrance? These things are a big chunk of people monthly budgets and some are a big treat. Once you don't have to spend that money from your own purse, you can splurge a bit on better/nicer items. So she started buying YSL bags and Chloe boots. Dior jewellery. A creme de la mere moisturiser which can be over £100.

You see where I am going with this? I am sure G's wealth does make a massive difference but I think she's doing not too bad too. Think of all the things she's hoarding that were gifted - this is money she didn't spend and saved.

Saw her insta stories where she is lamenting the return of her acne (understandable tbh) eczema she also complains about her belly, her bloating and ibs or something like that. She had a colonoscopy? Then shows herself drinking a considerable amount of alcohol frequently, cocktails and lots of wine, (sugar and an oestrogen booster) then matching little G bite for bite and portion for portion, consuming multiple towering infernos of cheese sandwiches, indulging in her body weights worth of. chocolate lindt balls, take aways etc.. if she did an overhaul on what she ate it would no doubt help or maybe even cure her skin and gut issues. If she could afford it she should pay to see private specialist in gut health, an endochronologist, maybe even a naturopath too. Thr different skincare ever other week can't be helping but her problems are probably more than skin deep. Also more interesting content than the cringey pussy chat. Would definitely watch her document that.

If they are paying over 2k in rent that's just stupid. It's only 2 of them and the flat isn't that great imo. The creepy stage and no access to garden..no thanks. I don't think she's making that much, with the views really low its only brand deals she's getting any income from.

Yup. She's actually thanking people in the comments for complimenting her on her amazing creativity and how her Halloween looks are always the best... But this is a total copy from someone else and she shouldn't be taking credit as if she thought this up herself.

It's just so pissing frustrating when I see influencers blatantly copy artists like this, and think it's enough to put "inspired by" at the end of their caption where you have to click on read more to actually see it (how many people actually read them anyway?) then bring out the exact same tutorial as the original artist.

There is no inspiration - this is a straight up copy, Kathleen.

it’s all relative though isn’t it? London is expensive, you’d be hard pushed to find much cheaper in most parts of London.

G is a high earner no doubt. He seems driven and he's probably been working for at least 15 years so should have a decent wedge tucked away. Shocked he doesn't already own a property or two tbh. He has inspired her to get a pension sorted

Andrew wasn't a high earner (also religious amd she isn't*) so i feel she would have gone for him if he earned an average salary, but 20k at his age in london would be hard to live on. As long as he had a job she'd be happy. They seem to get along, he is in the 'seeing no wrong in my beloved' stage. Thats why he finds her unconventional job adorable, but later if it interferes with his 'career' i can see things changing swiftly. If he had a superior / someone of the same level sniggering at her condom reviews or sniggering at her crying acne videos for example. Mocking her spelling or vocab etc.

Ultimately the halo effect passes swiftly so she should enjoy it while it lasts!

Ugh I have no idea, influencers think these transitions are sooooooo quirky and interesting, and they can show off their great acting and miming skills. It's so bleeping lame.

I can't wait for this 'trend' to die.

He also might not care? His 40 and is probably already quite established in his career. He may already be senior, he’d have to be on decent money to afford that flat in the area. Or maybe his mates just think it’s pretty cool. I have to say some of the talk on here about sex toys and so on seems a bit prudish to me. If I was doing this I know my partner wouldn’t care one bit what anyone else at work thought. This clutching at pearls over sex talk feels a bit netmums.

But it's not the content we signed up to katie for, and she's bad at it. There are plenty of sex content creators / insta and podcasts out there educators, sex workers of one form or another already. They aren't cringey, with katie it's like listening to your form tutor do a sex talk.

Everyone cares about their professional image at work. Reputation is everything, without respect he won't get work. It is embarrassing amd unprofessional to know aboit his sex life in a work setting.
