Same has happened to me Tracy.I am from a theatrical family ... my sisters are twins, when they kicked off not wanting to go on stage it was too much to handle ... but, as a child I had no choice. Even now Mum will not accept that I was miserable ... she still tells me that I was 'lucky' ... the truth is that it set me up for a lifetime of trauma that has now given me Fibromyalgia ... I have been in therapy most of my adult life because of my childhood ... Kipper will have convinced herself that it's what the children want because she did ... I would add that the real monster is AFP because Kipper was damaged in childhood ... I have a LOT of aces ... far far beyond the average person ... those aces affected me far more than my sisters because I took the brunt of it for them ... my younger sister only needed 7 sessions of EMDR to be ok ... I am currently at over 30 sessions ... I am not posting this for sympathy, just for people to understand

Well, I live in hope ... my GP said people do get well from fibro, my friend is also a GP (another one from a theatrical family and damaged) she said the same, she added that the people who get well fight it, I am fighting it and am slowly getting better ... more good days than bad compared to 12 months ago and riding my horse 3- 4 times a week again ... managed to start lessons again a few weeks ago with a lot of support and a push from my friend who is my trainer and my youngster and I are now aiming to seriously compete at dressage ... I still work full time, work have been very supportive and I still look after both horses DIY on my own .. everything just takes me a bit longer, i have to push myself a bit harder take pain killers more than I like and spend a lot of time in bed ... I can't beleive there's people like me, I almost feel embaressed to say I have it, but the pain and mobility problems are real. Having recently had grief counselling after breaking down last year, my gp thought it was because I'd just lost my Dad, but I worked it out for myself, yes I'd had a few traumatic events in my life, but my narc Mum was the constant, my bros distanced themselves but she made sure I was under her control using emotional blackmail and victim hood. She eventually got dementia, which for 2 years compounded her behaviour, she was really vicious. Eventually went into care and the first time in my life I got kisses and hugs and outpourings of love. She passed last Dec and like the dutiful daughter I was there until the end.Same has happened to me Tracy.

Valid questionDon't shoot me for this, but I looked at that fundraising page of Theresa Godly where she is looking to raise 10k to make a short movie to 'raise awareness of parental alienation'. How do we know the money is going to the right place? Why not fundraise to help families affected by the issue with their legal costs? Or fundraise to help an existing charity that specialises in the issue?
For clarity I think KH is genuine and is trying to help her and has no ulterior motive, I just hope TG isn't using him.
I guess I'm cynical because I've seen too many cases where a person used charity as a cover to line their own pockets.
