If you're struggling with the menopause, nag and nag and nag your gp.
There are specialist menopause clinics, not as many as there were a few years ago but they do exist. Worth travelling to.
I'm trying to remember the name of the lady i saw, she's very well respected and has trained whole teams. The whole approach was excellent.
I went through hell, still struggle, but have a much better understanding.
And if anyone tells you it's a doddle (as happened here a little while ago) and you're struggling just ignore them completely. It's an individual, personal, unique experience.
Back to kp (but i genuinely hope some of the above is useful to somebody).

My GP was fab. I'd been feeling like I was in peri-menopause for about 6 months so filled out an e-consult online. I was booked a phone appt and she called me. I was expecting a battle but she went through a thorough medical conversation and filled me in on the options. Gotta have my blood pressure checked next week but she said as long as thats ok, let her know and she will issue my prescription for HRT
The things that go on in the Co-op! I think she’s had something done and it’s gone wrong, either that or he’s finally dumped her over there.
I bet this is a story about KP being Bojo’s half sister and that‘s why she’s been getting off with things lightly.

Are you a man? Not being rude, just wondering.
Her youngest kids are still only 7 and 8, and the peri-menopause itself is usually a very long process (5-10 years) of greatly reduced fertility and irregular periods before the permanent cessation of periods (the actual menopause). She was obviously still fully fertile in her mid-30’s so unlikely to have had a particularly early menopause. She would have had to have begun the peri-menopause immediately after being very fertile in order for her to have had the menopause already. This is unlikely.
I do think she has begun the peri-menopause though, as expected for a woman of her age.
Her waist thickening is a classic sign, as changes in hormones change your fat distribution to carry more around your middle.
She’s openly been trying to have another
She always had a big ego about her fertility, having had five children and numerous other pregnancies. I think her declining fertility has given her a huge narcissistic injury in challenging the way she sees herself as a sexy young woman, and this ego blow may be partly responsible for her catastrophic behaviour over the last couple of years.
If any of those took over I'd be begging to go on the next flight to Rwanda. I'd probably have the plane to myself!
