Random question but is there any street food / takeaways in liverpool city centre area anyone can recommend? Open sat evening a must. Independent business type of places. We’re over that way sat evening to pick something up and want to get some food and make it worth the drive out but not after a sit down meal, not really got the time (actually want my child back home to bed for a reasonable hour)

Re this place they went last night. Another local gal I follow (Emily Bull -who is just a delight) also went the night before truff. She gave the place a professional and interesting review. A million miles better thank truffs blatant free greedy beggy meal.

There was a restaurant in Chester that got a request from the RHOC asking for a freebie for filming. They publically dealt with it on their Insta and it made the press. They also asked for the place to be closed in order to film so that's all the staff working for nothing and a days business lost. I'd have been telling them where to stick it too. The sooner these wannabes have their day the better. I have heard a couple of my daughter's friends say they either want to be footballers wives or influencers and it makes me so cross. Some of them at 15yrs old already have accounts where they are posting pics in bikinis and skimpy clothes and the parents are supporting it. It's a bloody tragic world we're living in. I hope it all dries a death in a couple of years.

Of when I’ve won a couple of free meals befor. It’s a great idea until you’re there and the realisation kicks in that actually it feels pretty bad to take something for free and always spend about the same on top to rid myself of the freeloader feeling (and I’m as tight as they come with most things) I’ve done too many years behind the scenes of pubs & restaurants and it’s mortifying that people just think there’s a bottomless pit of food and money to pay staff so fatties like Kate can stunt for the ‘gram

The only time i don't is when I'm on a Disney Dining Plan. I order the most expensive steak and wine, even though you've already paid dor the dining plan, I just like to make the most of it. But then have to add like 20% tip on top, which then costs a fortune!
