out of touch Is Kate just really stupid or is she lying about how much she loves her new apartment? Considering how much she wants to bloody change I’d say that’s an indication that the apartment isn’t right for her! Surely she’d have figured all this stuff out during the many viewings she had over the months? Who extends the lounge door in an apartment that’s not long been built? There’s nowhere to put the piano? Yeah Kate I gathered that myself when you did your apartment tour! Did she even measure her furniture to make sure it fitted? Like does she even hear herself talk? Surely she must know how dense she sounds? 
She’s wasting so much money when she could’ve just waited longer and spent more time researching properties and developments that would’ve suited her needs way more.

You know what I also find mad, that buying this hasn’t left her short of cash. Most first time buyers only have minimal furniture and buy pieces over time and can’t afford to make changes to the place (obv if it’s not a new build) she has a new build and is making changes and buying £££££ furniture mad
She is also trying to fit all these "old money home" things into a modern home that is way too small for all those ideas. For example cramming in those two armchairs when the living room is way too small for it to be pleasant and spaceous if she puts those in. Or the fireplace. Why not just accept that this is your very first own home, take it as it is and see that you can not have all of your pinterest board in this one but maybe in the next one, if you choose wiser.

When she was sharing her home inspo/mood boards or whatever I really though she had bought a spacious, tall ceilings, lots of light, maybe some panelling details in the main room type of a place, rather than this very small, basic looking apartment she ended up in. Maybe she's visually really bad at imaging sizes of things and didn't think to measure as others said.
Honestly I feel like she will be getting ready to move in a year...this apartment does not match her aspirations... do they even have the space for a dining table?
Side note: hate the apartment but if I ended up renting a place like hers that has a tiny triangle sun room I would bleeping live in there in my free time in the cosiest armchair reading books with my feet up lol.

If she'd just get a really nice L shaped sofa and get rid of the fireplace and armchairs there would definitely be enough room for piano too. Shamelessly hinting for a free sofa from Soho House ( previously vlogged in Kings Road shop so can see it there lie) & free costly made to measure curtains. Net curtains are a bad choice with London diesel fumes will be a hassle as need to wash them regularly to stay white. Adding fake period features with stick on cornicing, panelling & ornate electric fireplace to any high rise new flat is a tacky stale trend equal to a grey crush velvet sofas & boxy upholstered beds all z list celebs have. Paying a novice off TikTok to give her remote bad design advice is dumb just generic trend ideas not fitting her boxy flat reality, as if an imaginary Notting Hill Mansion. Not classy to have a big TV as any room’s main focus, best ditch the fake fireplace idea just use candles as her room doesn’t suit it - TV will be too high above it, for best viewing should be at eye level from sofa max 1.2 M off floor plus glare from big windows will make it non watchable in the bright summer sun. So wasteful to discard her piano ( meant to be her passion?) & a new sofa wanting a new one exact same colour but only about 50cm wider. To keep Lounge as spacious as possible, less is more - simply put Piano where TV is now, put sofa against long wall with her big painting above it as a feature & TV on unit or projector screen opposite in front of windows ( no glare & looking at London view) then showcase her new marble dining table in corner, not ideal interiors but that’s the flat layout she bought.
Poor flat choice is due to her arrogance not showing the new flat to her parents or anybody for their trusted opinion before she bought it as a first time buyer at 24. Very cold of Kate shows she doesn’t value their older intellect as any contribution, acts as if they’re beneath her now she’s wealthier than them. They must feel privately insulted by her snobbery & how shamelessly money / designer obsessed she has become in a reaction against their non flashy but very comfortable lefty arts lifestyle. Her Lapland recap reel is mainly her posing with her various Chanel bags is so pretentious & logo obsessed. With no good travel photography of northern lights or her hotel resort content could be anywhere snowy, just non stop adverts not the romantic break she boasted about with her now Official Boyfriend.

It does all make Kate look dim as if she bought her 1st flat without thinking much, too much money but no sense & takes more consideration planning her outfits. Every flat vlog exposes her regrets buying it as she wants to change everything about it & can not fit her furniture needs bespoke + doesn’t understand space planning dimensions. ( in photo above using a tiny 1M white fabric measuring tape not a proper 8M one.) Madness to do so much to any new build flat, adding double doors to the lounge making a wall shorter to centralise a TV makes no sense, will reduce flat worth as buyers want more wall space not more doors.
