Love Julia and I think she's a really talented singer, but I absolutely hate the music she makes, and find her videos totally cringe. Does anyone else find this or am I just a cow?!

I feel the same, this most recent song she released is the closest i have come to almost liking her music, but i just dont. Maybe she could consider making music for others as a path instead, idk i know she did a masters in song writing (i think) but i find her lyrics to be really juvenile, feel bad for saying it as shes really creative and im sure its right up other peoples street but its not for me.
She has a trained voice rather than an actual talent, and it sounds forced. I don’t think it’s mean to say, just honest feedback
I agree, she uses her head voice a lot, maybe she should switch it up but maybe there's a reason she only uses that.

But anyway, I assume Julia is flying back to Brazil for Christmas? Again, without Eileen. I'm not saying you HAVE to spend Christmas with your other half but Eileen never seems to want to go anywhere or do anything with Julia.

Yeah, I often wonder what Julia’s mum thinks of it all. Must break her heart to see her daughter who isn’t even 30 yet be tied to a lazy bore like Eileen. Living so far away must drive her crazy, I would want to tell my kid to stop wasting her life.
LOL Why would Eileen end things with Julia? She has someone to take care of her in her old age and clean after her and pay for all her tit while she doesn't have to ever lift a finger again. I'm surprised actually at how Eileen put no effort into this marriage. Not even for Julia. Even when Eileen was finally forced into going to Croatia with Julia, she probably didn't want to be there and literally stayed sitting at restaurants while Julia went exploring cause she is just so out of shape (or maybe lazy? or both) I just think Eileen is selfish idk that's just my assessment, she would rather be all alone in England (not a single relative there) than spend the Holidays with Julia and her family, which would probably have meant a lot to Julia, but the lack of effort is just really really sad. Like if you love and respect someone you put effort, I just have never seen any effort from eileen despite julia being the icome provider, cleaner, working fulltime & until recently studying also.

It is so uncomfortable to watch. Not because of the age gap or anything. I just don't want to see any couple fawn all over each other and tell each other how sexy they are, it's just weird.
Can we resurrect this thread to discuss her upcoming song, Torture? She played it at the live show and has shared a snippet on insta story today. She has said that it was inspired by her and Eileen's relationship. One of the lyrics is "there's no love between us anymore/ it has to end". I watched one of her Lives on Monday and she said that it's an exaggerated version of her feelings, but wrote it after an argument she had with Eileen...Just leave her Julia!!!! Also, if I was Eileen and my wife was writing songs like that and saying they were inspired by our relationship, I'd leave her too! She must have no self-respect...
The ball will very much be in Julia’s court in terms of ending the relationship. I think Eileen will be happy to plod along with a younger woman even if the love has gone, she won’t be all that bothered about the physical side of things with all her health issues. Julia needs to get out now, if she waits any longer she could end up basically being a carer for Eileen and would look bad for leaving her then.
Yeah I think you're right about Eileen just plodding along. I think that she has it cushy with Julia too as J financially supports her. Totally agree Julia needs to get out ASAP before she gets trapped. If you watch the Lives she's posted she is continually hinting that she and Eileen are moving to the US...I think that would be such a mistake...
The only positive from that would be Julia being closer to her mum but her whole career is in London and I’m not sure how known she is in the states. I just find the relationship confusing, I don’t get what Julia ever got from it. I can only imagine they both regret getting married, however, it has brought them some cash and online attention.
