I don't understand how people can't see through his act. Forced smile, no blinking, says things that are demonstrably not true, and yet people still believe him. I find it unbearable to watch.

JoJo is trying hard to get people to look at his arms, but he’s starting to look like a freak, or maybe more of one, with his gym-built upper arms and shoulders not in proportion to the rest of him.

JoJo thinks if he builds up his body, that will solve the problems he has with women. I've seen people on the Kyle thread ask why people send anything to a vlogger's P.O. Box. I've never sent anything to Kyle's P.O. box, but I can tell my story of the first time I sent something to JoJo's P.O. box, even thought I know it's not representative of other people's motivation.
When JoJo first got a P.O. box in 2019, I didn't send anything at first. It's not the kind of thing I would do. However, when he did his first P.O. Box opening video, the only things he got were a can opener and a promotional Walt Life box. JoJo was very happy about the whole thing, even though the apartment already had two can openers. The situation just made me very sad that that happened to someone, especially when he would see that Kyle always got so many nice things in every one of his P.O. box openings. Actually, it still makes me sad thinking about it, that it would happen to anyone, even knowing what kind of person JoJo is and that he doesn't deserve any sympathy from me.
I decided I would send something physically big for Christmas so that it would be extra special and make up for a lack of other people sending anything. I also sent something at the same time for JoJo having achieved 9000 subscribers on YouTube. For the 9000, the first thought in my head was to send a Stitch onesie. I decided against it after looking at it online because I didn't like the way it looked. My second choice was the Stitch plush. I could kick myself for not sending the onesie considering how much airtime the one that someone else later sent him got. Still, my plush Stitch did make a lot of cameos on TikTok.
For the big Christmas present, I decided I would send an inexpensive Christmas tree. It's something that would be useful and be a big deal for someone to send something like that. I also sent an ornament shaped like a Mickey Rice Krispies treat, as a keepsake for him to remember when he bought the real thing for a mukbang. I sent some additional ornaments later that were photo ornaments of Santa, reindeer and elves with the four roommates faces on them.
I think I advised that the tree could be gotten rid of after Christmas since I knew they wouldn't have room to store it, so that was okay to get rid of. As for the other items, JoJo has said on his vlog recently that got rid of the plush Stitch. I didn't see any of the ornaments on his tree this year, so I assume they are buried in a garbage landfill somewhere. I would say the moral of the story is that people shouldn't waste their money sending anything, but on the other hand, he hasn't thrown out yet the Winnie the Pooh or Genie drawings he has on the wall, so people should just send tracings of Disney characters and maybe he'll hold on to them.

For whatever reason, Dan's presence made an obnoxious JoJo a lot more tolerable.
I haven’t watched JoJo in awhile, but decided to check this out after reading your comment. I actually found it pretty funny, Dan definitely was enjoyable to watch! “JOJO. I JUST WANT TO GET THE EGGS AND GO HOME” made me actually laugh out loud.
I also liked that Dan had the sense to think that a drink for each at every country might be a little over the top, and handing the soggy puzzle of a map in at the end was pretty great too.

If there's a takeaway from JoJo and Kyle's videos from the last month or so, it's that Dan and Nick should be the ones vlogging.
JoJo being with Dan though seems to magnify JoJo's laugh, which can be as annoying as the sound of a woodpecker hammering into a tree.
I agree that Dan can do well when he lets loose and is not fumbling trying to think of something funny to say. He did a good job in the few videos in which he did reviews with JoJo. I had watched the first episode of the Mandalorian when it came out and didn't really follow along. I watched Dan do a review and explain it and then I understood it. I would put him in that niche. When Nick is in JoJo's videos, he always great with his glowing personality.
When the guys were on the Wonder cruise, I thought that Parker was the most authentic on camera. He would probably be the most educational vlogger of the group, although that might not translate into the most entertaining. I do appreciate people being authentic though.
One of the things that I noticed about JoJo early on was that over time he started to become more and more JoJo the character on camera and less the real Jonathan. Now it's all JoJo the character that he portrays on camera and when he speaks to people in the parks. I also noticed how much he tried to get in with other creators, starting with lower level people and working his way up. Funny story: In January 2020, I posted a comment on one of Kyle's vlogs, stating, "I appreciate that you have built your channel based on what you want to do and who with and you're not a clout chaser. It keeps it real." I don't know if JoJo saw this comment and thought it was about him for some reason, but the next day on TikTok, he posted this video, which isn't like any other video he has posted, so it might be strange coincidence, might not.
