we had a long discussion about it, and both of us just want the house sorted. And we do think a dog would be good for us both, both health wise and companionship.

It's still just his normal hours, so I don't think I can. He's only been there a week so still getting into the routine, but he loves it so far. No I get that!! I finished work early on Friday and I picked mine up 20 mins early, cos I wanted to get home before school traffic& he missed out on cake
. But he was so surprised to see me early it was lovely 🥹. But I know what you mean! I don’t make a habit of it. Don’t want to confuse him. He’ll have a fab day I’m sure Mum guilt is hard to ignore

I'm sure you've checked this already, but is there anything you can do online to start the process? They might have some registration forms to print and complete, that way you've done half the battle?Closed for the funeral like everywhere else.

I just love cinnamon - not as much as Everton or Bae, but probably the same amount as RLF (who has actually just said, “would have rather than had a cinnamon swirl than an egg butty this morning” - this is why we’re MFEO)

Work has been weird. A patient’s case stuck with me and I’ve been a little morose about it. It’ll be okay.Still can’t talk, but obviously a godsend for RLF.

I’ll be doing the same. I’m an emotional sod too, so watching it will just mean I’m puffy eyed tomorrow. The silence, national anthem and applause at the match was really emotive.
