We were supposed to be going to the new creperie for lunch but now we have a later breakfast we'll have to do that another day! In my last job we had a weekly mandatory project review from 2-4 on Friday which was basically a public flogging and you could never get out of it. It was AWFUL.

It’s the worst isn’t it!! I used to work in Payroll and it was just constant questions all afternoon and then calls and it wouldn’t stop, and then we’d get the emails saying “if you get 5 can you call me” and it would be like an hour just explaining the same things every week!!

We used to have a Friday 'drinks' during the pandemic at my old job. It was, the worst. At 4:30pm on a Friday, nobody wants to be on a zoom talking to their colleagues.

LO is at pre school and I am sat working on the sofa, as there is a man in the garden installing a new side gate. Felt weird to be in my office, but now feel like I'm keeping an eye on him (which I'm not).

Awaiting a salary review call so feeling a bit nervous! I know its going up by a chunk but no idea by how much, trying to assume it is the smallest possible amount (but anything is nice really isn't it!).

Also working on the sofa under my blanket because it's so chilly. I'm meant to be going swimming at 12 and am going to freeze my tits off
