I can't help but laugh at the name Dustin. It's so so bad! I can't tell on that pic as you can't see her stomach, but that makes me think she definitely is! She's always hiding it

Also, I'd never heard of an Aqua card before here/Old Mark - I'm kind of in on the joke after reading this and Younger Mark's threads, but am still not knowledgeable about exactly why it's slated - is it a sign of poor credit?

Yeah I think it’s for people who have been turned down for other credit cards

I think Jess will be under pressure from leather face to build her family.
Just imagine a whole county full of Wrights? Hell no.

It is an absolutely terrible name. It reminds me of the late Dustin Gee.

I had no idea she was once with the lovely Gio! He literally dodged a bullet there. (Well OK, not literally, but you get my drift.)

Probably was literally with Big Mark and Gangster Granny Carol in the picture...

She seemed to go for the tall dark handsome types. Ricky, Gio….

Her and ham face are basically an arranged marriage apparently him and mark were friends/acquaintances and it was a done deal she was itching to have a child and a wedding ⏰ .
Ricky "tall dark handsome" 🤣🤣🤣

"Little explorer"🤔

They travel to the same hot places ( normally, Dubai, Bahamas, or Majorca)
and remain glued to the pool or nip to the beach,
that's it.

It's not exactly travelling across the Australian outback, climbing the Himalayas, a African safari....so how the duck is junior ham face a explorer?

Wee Viz is Ham Face's absolute spitting image.

I have always been curious about Old Ma and Old Pa Wright's house - how large is it? I always thought that it was a detached 1930s, but maybe it's more like an extended semi, like Billie Shepherd's old house. Forgive me - I love property ;)
I could be wrong but I think it’s a detached, they moved to a bigger house after Nanny Pat died I think
@ChickenLicking I have some intel re: your above query! Came across it in my rewatch.

In Series 13 Episode 10 from 13:08 they show some outside footage of the Wrights' residence as Ricky drops a letter through their door [after his break up with Jess]. They don't show the house square on (like Arg's or Lydia's family homes) but some deductions can be drawn!

They show Ricky walking up the road to the house and it looks like an area with a fair amount of road and foot traffic - I would say a less prestigious location than the greener more suburban streets of other cast members' houses.

And it definitely looks like a semi. Prob quite a big one, prob extended. But would that be like 4 bedrooms? If so, that would mean not all of the Wright kids would've got their own room! Maybe they put one of them in the shed.

I was kind of shocked tbh. The Wrights seem to make a point of portraying themselves as a cut above the rest but from this it looks like they're some way down the TOWIE pecking order in terms of house kudos, and probably overall wealth. I suppose this is where the Aqua card comes in.

And I'd never thought about this before, but why didn't the Wright family house ever have a front on 'establishing' shot like most of the other houses that were regularly used for scenes at that time? Is it because they weren't proud of what their house looked like? Especially compared to some of the others? 🤔

As @Disneylover says above they may now be living somewhere else/in a detached house - Nanny Pat was still dragging around at this point.

P.s. I love that people here see through the Sainted Pat persona

They don't live there any more. Sold it and moved further out. My partner knows the person who bought it and she said it was a nightmare. Debt collectors / payday loan letters / people turning up saying they were owed money etc!

Ooh thank you! That's the kind of info I crave! I agree that they did seem to be living in an extended semi with an open plan rear extension - not unlike Billie Shepherd's old house (until she gifted it to her mum!) I seem to rear reading that the Wrights used to live in Ilford which is quite mixed. The other cast members did seem to live in detached properties - Arg's parents' large shuttered one and Lydia Brights' parents' mock Tudor one (which I recall reading was a wreck when they bought it.) The largest houses seemed to belong to Charlie King's clan and Georgia K's which both boasted indoor pools!?

Thank you again - I love it :)

The only bit that got shown in the house was the kitchen as it probably got done for the show and leather face was all chuffed with it .....

but it's clearly obvious the rest of the house must have been very basic or it would have got shown.

I wouldn't even have said it was as good a house as Billis semi,
the width of the kitchen was the garden width and it was a lot shorter.

Tbh i got bought council house vibes from it.

It was the framed pic of Jess in the kitchen when she graduated that always tickled me so much

She was a hard faced old witch like Carol.

Very often people like the Wrights show off like they are loaded but in reality they are in debt, but they have to pretend to people like us that they are loaded in the most chavvy common way.

If you listen to the most recent Spencer Matthews podcast “Big Fish” his guest is Mark Wright, he’s gives a little insight into how his parents went bankrupt and lost everything. It’s a good listen 👍
