They are looking for their own place, but how convenient that they have a family home and family car to use whilst doing that. Again, I don’t see how the average guy/gal can relate to someone like Lucia.

I used to like her stuff, but when she started to fall into the Hermès trap, my interest in her faded.

Well, I was (and am, sometimes) jealous of her and influencers within my age range (she's 26 and I'm 24) that can own multiple bags, shoes and jewelry that I cannot afford, since I live paycheck to paycheck.

I unsubscribed because I hate Lucía selling the idea that anyone working hard (in freaking Mexico) could save money and buy luxury items (or even good quality replicas) at the soft age of 20 something years old.
It's just not possible, not a reality. She's still in college, is not like she's a business owner or had some ground breaking idea that made her a Millionaire.

Several times she mentioned that she "saves money" to buy handbags while not spending on other stuff like "going to the hair stylist". It leads me to believe that she has no idea / no sense of reality of how working and paying for your own stuff actually looks like, but she may understand that saying so it's not relatable so ... she lies!

Don't stay subscribed or following people that damages your mental health.

You didn’t miss much. We all knew Polo’s family has $. Lucia knows what’s up. She wasn’t going to “disown” her family without replacing them w another w $. I find it funny that she’s magically friends again w her father bc she and Polo need a place to stay and a car to drive in Barcelona. Oh the life of those w generational wealth!

I will say that at least Lucia has a degree and is now hopefully going to open a little B&B in Barcelona. At least she works another job which is a hell of a lot more than her peers in the YT/IG lux space.

Listen, I don’t want to be rude and bash anyone. I do believe that YouTube and sponsors might be enough to fund her bag collection and lux-shopping, but in no way I could ever believe it’s enough (or it was enough) for her to pay for food, rent, car, amenities, etc while studying.
I mean, gurl if you come from money get that inherited coin, I wish I had it like that, honestly who wouldn’t?! However I do feel a bit icky about her claiming that her 9-5 and YouTube provided her for that all.
I think that now that she is going to be full time content creator it’s more likely that she will earn more from YouTube and Instagram etc, but still… it’s kinda off putting.
At the end of the day she doesn’t really OWN anybody an explanation, but it’s still kinda weird because she math doesn’t math

I just can't with her. She clearly tried to beg for more money through her failed sailing channel and she clearly buys fake Hermes bags (The close-up photos posted here on page 1 make that pretty obvious. I used to work in the second-hand lux bag market for some time and while there is some MINOR variation from bag to bag, I have only seen that thin wonky stamp and spaced apart stitching with medium-tier fake bags. Top tier Hermes fakes are fully handstitched and $$$. Other bags in her collection might be real but her Hermes bags are clearly not). She s following the fake it til you make it strategy to reach that certain benchmark in the lux community where they buy all the same boring items at the same pace - she probably does that to get more sponsors like far fetch that sponsor her whole lifestyle like those shady UK lifestyle lux YTs. She is just another bubble head that adds nothing of value to her channel. Absolutely uninspired and half braindead. Old-ish money super loaded YTs like Caitlin Pawloski at least don't pretend to work hard to achieve all that. She is sometimes really out of touch, too but overall she knows she is very privileged and doesn't lie to her audience. I respect that.

I also wonder if she got her bags from a reseller, she might not even know they are fakes, and that's why she's not afraid of showing up close videos of the bags.

Caitlin is THE WORST. She “works” for her family. Remember when she was no longer buying luxury, and then a few months later pops back with a $30K+ Rolex (used) and a Birkin. ROFL! Clearly her parents cut her off and then they either put her back on the payroll OR grandma died. Same old story.

I used to always lol at her pre-boyfriend videos. She was always so desperate! It takes a special mate for someone like that.

She lives off of her family. You can even find a trust just by googling her name.

Her bags are real. Polo’s family shops at the store where she magically got her offers. Mexico is also not a competitive store. I’m just shocked at how normal-sized the B25 and K25 look on her. She must be TINY bc those bags are so incredibly small IRL.

Her grandma used to shop there too, so... old money. That's it really. I stopped watching her as she's just repeating herself at this point and it's just IMPOSSIBLE to have a luxury bag collection on a 9 to 5 job in Mexico. She's not such a big influencer (yet) to afford that amount of bags.

Just compare her to any other REAL influencer that lives out of her content. I don't see her with so many sponsors or affiliate links (yet) to afford...what, at least 15 luxury bags and other items such as jumpers, pillows and so on...?

Math does not add up.

Another fact. I am South American. I can confirm 100% that South American luxury stores do not have the same stock as Europe / Asia / North America ones.
Yes, you may be offered unexpected things but no way that she got offered a shiny Birkin after purchasing a belt (she had little to no purchase history herself).

I personally think that Birkin is actually real (but not all her collection it's authentic, if that makes sense). The SA knew her family purchase history and / or Polo's family purchase history. Otherwise, why would you get other good customers mad at you with an infinite waiting list? To sell to a random Youtuber her dream bag?

Nah, that's not how Hermés works.

That's an interesting point that her lux phases are tied to her family's current payroll policies. Makes a lot of sense. She also has lots of investment properties in and around Adelaide- surely paid w the bank of mum and dad. Her family owns croc farms for handbag making etc iirc. Really funny how she recently said that luxury means living a basic life.... yeah, just look at her multimillion-dollar beach front property, her weekly facials etc. She wants to say woke relatable stuff but is really out of touch, I must admit.

Still, I think she bullshits people less than Lou with her "I am in my early twenties and I JuSt WOrK sO HaRd y'aLL. AlsO DonAte mE sOmE mOrE monEy 4 mA sAiLinG". Or maybe she is just smarter and better at it than Lou, who knows.

If that Birkin is indeed real, I'd be pissed that I just got a dud that probably everyone else rejected before it was finally offered to her. Looks fake to me , so it is extra funny if she cashed out so much money for a bag that looks only real-ish from far away.

Still, stuff doesn't add up at all. And she totally is one-dimensional when it comes to content, she'll blurb on and on endlessly on her house.

Nothing wrong with her social standing, but, it kinda irks me. I think she looks at money as an endless resource, as how her dad apparently gave her allowance and she blew it buying her Chanel CFs. I do hope she's financially literate at this stage, she's 26!
